    • Agreed Geoff. It seems that religions have been centre stage of conflicts for a very long time.
    • Maybe not that much??? Considering they are part of the body side was strengthening component..
    • Some of that is more than a little biased, for example the Moors in "Spain" controlled the Iberian peninsula but lived peacefully with Christians and Jews also living there together for a long period. There have been wars between factions of all religions over the millennia. One can't look at the Spanish inquisition as less that an attack on other beliefs. Few today believe that the Catholic Church is bent on subjugating the rest of the worlds religion. To project forward what has been, to make a case against a belief today, then do so for all religions equally. Christianity has its own fanatics but I don't judge it by those few.
    • Can you imagie what it cost for that body with the raised letters??
    • I remember them for sure.  I think they hauled for Stiles Brick too.  F-230 I think
    • lol again,,,,, main stream media…. I have noticed lately all they wanna do is scare the wind out of the public instead of inspiring everyone… incredible… bob
    • Below is a recent speech at the UN on 26 March 2026 by Kuwaiti dissident journalist Jasem Aljuraid is a realist summary of the real Arabic issues confronting all countries. From some of my research, the Shiite Islamic Iranian Clergy have been endlessly pursuing the belief that the Shiites should have inherited the leadership of the Islam community after the death of Muhammad around 700 AD. Instead the Sunnis took over the leadership based in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and have retained the leadership to this day. Around 1070 AD the Shiites took control or invaded the Kaaba, a sacred cuboid building in Mecca. Mecca is the holiest site in Islam, serving as the focal point of worship for Muslims worldwide, who face it during their daily prayers. The Sunnis defeated the Shiites and banished them from Mecca. Shiites are about 10-15% of the total Muslim population. The Shiites are determined to achieve their belief that they should control and lead Islam. The Iranian Shiites are determined to takeover Saudi Arabia and that would give them control of Mecca and the massive oil reserves. All the other middle east countries would fall like Dominoes. Imagine what consequences would follow? Iran became the Shiite stronghold because it has the black gold - oil - which provides the cashflow for the Iranian clergy to pursue their forever belief to control Islam. After the 1979 revolution the Shiite clergy nationalised all the oil resources in Iran. Hence the funding of the international proxies by Iran from the massive oil cashflows since 1979. And the $billions released by certain politicians. The Saudis have been battling the Shiites since around 700 AD and more recently Iran, directly and indirectly. Maybe that is why the Saudis support the Trump administration and were ready to sign the accord with Israel. The Saudi King and Prince - MBS do not want to loose their Kingdom to the Iranian clergy and expose their Sunni population to the Shiites. I would consider that China would not want Iran and its clergy to gain control of the Middle East. China has since 1948 continuously putting all its Muslims through a De-Islamize process. That would not please the Iranian clergy!  Iran/Persia and other countries were never Islam countries, it was invaded and colonised by the Arabs (see article below). The Persians and all other peoples were forced to convert to Islam or else. The same happened across North Africa, Judea (now Israel) Egypt, Lebanon etc. The Arabs also invaded the southern half of Spain and were in occupation for maybe 200 plus years until the Christians defeated the Muslims and converted the country to Christianity.  Within the Kaaba is the Black Stone - Hajar al-Aswad, an Islamic relic believed to date back to the time of Adam and Eve. I understand that in the 1070 AD battle the Shiites took this Black Stone but when the Sunnis defeated the Shiites they returned the Black Stone to its place in the Kaaba. Annually the Muslim world most sacred time is the Hajj pilgrimage to the Kaaba in Mecca. It is the life long ultimate journey that all Muslims aspire to attend before they die. The 2026 Hajj is between 25 to 30 May. Millions of Muslims from around the world attend the Hajj. Saudi Arabia has set a deadline for Umrah (to go to Mecca) visa holders to depart by 18 April 2026. For the Muslim world this annual Muslim pilgrimage cannot be cancelled. Consider this - if the Iran war is not in a cease fire then the annual Hajj cannot proceed due the bombing by Iran into the Gulf countries and Saudi Arabia. The Media do not report this into their articles. This is part of Jasem's UN speech.  https://sharingfromisrael.substack.com?utm_source=navbar&utm_medium=web

This is the current condition of my 47 EE project. The rebuilt EN271 is out and we are in the process of checking the fit of a big block Ford. It is the same truck that’s in my thumbnail photo taken a few years ago. I have managed to acquire all the new rubber cab seals and many are installed. I have a painless harness as well.

That engine and trans are on a pallet and probably weigh around 900. I believe the clutch is new and the trans was gone through.
Louisiana is a fair distance from the middle of Washington!
That said, all the cab rubber body parts had to come from Massachusetts and it took over 3 grand for all the window, door, cowel, fender and more pieces to get everything. I found some parts back east but they are not cheap.
