They are being built since last year. They're already on the ground at some dealerships. We expect some next month up here in Canada .

The one in our area is a preproduction model, which equals junk. Not a impressive truck. I don't know why they'd send such a pieced together truck out.

I bet to chase off the rest of the mack owners and be the final nail in the coffin

At least it gets the kids making something with heir hands and developing some manual dexterity, instead of video games and texting.

Quantity production started last week. Met with my local mack dealer today and got proposals for two new trucks. One being a 2018 cxu the other a anthem daycab. Took a sleeper model for a ride . Nice truck.

That's nowhere near as FUGLY as the Pre-production pics floating about the Internet..

Is the centre of the Bumper just painted Black? or does the Grill go all the way down??

Not that bad looking actually but couldn't they do a better job on the roof fairing attachment? It looks like they tek screwed it on.

A few more rivets/fasteners might be in order to give it a quality look. I hope the rest of the truck is not put together like this. Grill/ hood /steps/fuel tank fairings/cab seem like they were designed ok. Roof fairing looks like some kids dropped it off a bridge on to the truck.:(:)

41, those spot mirrors are an atrocity! Mirrors are supposed to improve safety those block your vision! What's the deal with the flat black plastic? There are a couple of U and DM Macks still running daily in my area, wonder how many years that "Mack" will last!

Talked to a Mack salesman at a logging show this weekend said he has sold a dozen and told me that the factory is booked thru September with orders.
