      How can I determine what trans is in my 1970 MB?  It is a twin stick.   I searched the site and found some info about the type being on the left side.   Nothing that I can find there. the right side has some casting numbers and the date 1/7/70  284KB 5122A.  On the side.

      Converting e7 400 back to mechanical

      I bought a mechanical pump from a 1990 e7 400 with the injector lines and half of the throttle linkages, the throttle linkages was the hard part with alot of trial and error, the pump bolted in directly where the old econovance  sat, just had to make a new bracket to hold the pump and another one to block off the oil return from the econovance, also had to make a new oil feed line but nothing major to this project, so far I've only test drove it and I'm very satisfied with the results, tomorrow is the first day to be put back to work, if you have any more questions hopefully I can answer them!

      Help with my steering shaft

      Hello, good morning. I have a Mack gu713 2012 My gearbox was leaking oil and I sent it to be repaired. Take advantage of the time and my truck mechanic the u-joints of the steering shaft. When I reinstall the gear box, and the steering shaft I notice the steering wheel direction harder than normal. I assumed that the gear box didn't look good. I down  the gear box again, I send it to check and they tell me that everything is fine with it.. Doing and asking someone tell me that the problem may be that my mechanic did not replace the u-joints as the previous ones were. And the truth is that I would like opinions. (I already changed the steering pump) (I also took the air out of the pump with the tires in the air)   if you help me I send you a tip . I need my truck back 😭🙌🏻🙏🏻

      I do not post many pictures, BUT when my quota fills up I use Postimage.. Then it seems like after while I can go back to posting a single picture once in a while????

      R model Steer axle

      I look at it is how much money do you want to spend my axle has bad tie rod ends and I can’t find new ones so I sourced a whole different axle out of a school bus the center pin holes were close and I’ll have to get new u bolts to fit properly in the holes. Width of the outsides of the tires was a concern for me as a b model is kinda narrow . Going newer gets you more modern parts that are usually cheaper and easily sourced

      2007 Mack MP7 Misfire

      Truck will be running perfectly, randomly start misfiring and running bad, can shut the engine off and instantly restart the truck and it will run perfectly again tell it happens again. It was happening about 1-2 every coulple of weeks, now it's to the point it happens a couple of times a day. No engine codes

      Thanks Bob I try to do what I can on a budget I guess the truck is never finished I am glad I’m doing it though the front tires that were on it looked ok till I too them off they were totally dry rotted on the inside
