Finally done

Car show in Garrison today.. the little Case I painted took first in the tractor division..(he was pretty happy!). And the Mack took first in Chamber of Commerce pick.. and second in People's Choice! Awesome!!

Heading back to Mn for Waubun days parade!! Feels good to have everything finished! New fenders next week!

I see a lot of guys have an interest in Yaworski's "Last of the Line" Mack Superliner. Here it is, in December 2011. This is "THE" last of that model to leave the assembly line. It’s pretty rare we sell equipment, let alone sell it to the original owner! Our off road truck was custom built as a Glider in 1980 by the gentleman in the photo. Custom suspension, 13 speed transmission, 400 Big Cam Cummins, tool boxes, and every option available for a Holmes 750 at the time. In its day it was a beast of a wrecker, and would have been considered a show truck! We were contacted by Arnie two days ago and informed he has been chasing this truck since around 1987, when he sold it and regretted it a few months later. He followed it from Illinois, to Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, back into Iowa, and finally to us. He said he had heard the same thing a few times over the years: “Sorry, we JUST sold that truck minutes ago!” Since we purchased our winch box and excavator we rarely use this truck, so we made a deal to sell this truck back to him! One of the happiest looks on his face when he realized even the key ring was still original bearing his companies logo! This truck is going to be completely restored, and will no longer spend any days outside! Sad to see it go but VERY happy to be a part of a story like this! Congrats Arnie on the return of your original Truck #1! We hope to see it when it’s completely redone!

It is my grandmas wish to go for a ride in old Gus one more time.. as this old truck belonged to her dad. We are on a mission to get old Gus restored as soon as possible. Any help for finding parts for old Gus would be appreciated! im doing the body work myself and yes.. I'm a woman! Ha! I'm the great granddaughter and the fourth generation owner of Gus46! Proud to be a Mack owner!

This is our family fleet, of which I have the only remaining Mack out of this line...Gus#9 My great grandfather (August...Gus) is standing in front of Truck #1, my grandpa Jerry is standing in front of truck #3 and Ben Rowley is standing in front of Gus#9. This is my favorite picture of the fleet, as my great grandpa was so proud of his trucks.
