138, would of seen a lot of changes in that 138 years 

Remember when my Great Grandmother passed, must of 88 or 89 

She hit 90 years of age, we had a l party and 2 days later she popped her clogs 

She lived at home on here own, wood heater, us kids / young men would split and stack wood at the house for her

Sge drove well into her 80's, the government claimed she needed to sit a test again, she wasn't impressed, told them to stick it

When she passed I remember thinking, cars werent even invented, the light bulb wasnt around, radio wasn't even thought of, let alone people flying

Then a couple of jokers went for a joy ride to the moon

The changes she saw I cant even begin to imagine 

And the snow flakes of today piss and moan about everything 

 

Dunno I'm getting old I guess

 starting at Mack truck at 17 yrs old now 71  ; kinda glad the memory is failing and don't remember all the changes since then. no computers/ abs/ DEF fuel  and don't forget the amount of wiring in just one truck today vs the few wires in a b model. one little tail light  etc  .. i like the old black rotary phone IN the HOUSE.  a burger king whopper that was so big you could only eat one .. LOL  and the list goes on

He has a lot of hate for Detroit’s. He destroys almost all of them in different ways. He’s a big cat guy but I will say he knows his shit about them and is a great engine builder from what I have seen in his videos.

i remember when a half gallon of ice cream actually was a half gallon. .....not 3 pints.

Its the way of social media. Its all about how many clicks you can get. The guy has done this many times before and created a "brand/image" for himself and his YouTube channel. I suspect most of his subscribers relish in this kind of thing and are on the edge of their seats waiting for him to post the next video. A YouTube channel with that many subscribers, likes, and views probably easily nets somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000/year. The more outrageous the content, the more views the more advertisements, the more money made......

I am not subscribed to his channel and don't watch all his videos but have watched enough of them that whenever he posts a new one it comes up in my suggested area. I would say from what I have seen is that he is a super talented engine builder and insanely savvy with any electronic Cat engine. 

I am pretty impressed with how much abuse those old Detroit engines can take considering they are worn out by the time he gets his hands on them anyway.

Really. I get the truck was worn out and all, but it really did take a lot of abuse . Went way farther than I  expected it to.

That one put up the least amount of fight too. His other vid’s he has a hard time killing them. Even when fueling them with ether.

Yup, and still are! Plus they had a huge variety of applications. Very versatile engine if ask me.

I made a living hauling rock with a 318DD. I thought the engine with the 13 speed did a good job. I would scale out with 90,ooo plus with bedding in that coal box and it would do ok the Brockway triaxle was not the lightest across the scale empty.
