    wedge brakes are terrific when everything is new, but on a truck that has been for years everything gets stuck in them. biggest problem is keeping the self adjusters working. terry

    Have ever checked end play on the counter shaft through a PTO opening real easy to check and adjust with the removal of shims on the back of countershaft bearing cover. terry
