  1. There are wider spacers available, also used to use some add on spacers if you needed just a little spacing, don't remember what they were called, about 1/8 or 3/16 thick, they slid on right on with original spacer. terry

  5. No. 8 is the check valve on the inlet side, there is another under the primer, but not all pumps have the primer on them, makes it harder to prime fuel system. terry

  9. I used to do it all the time, makes it easier to shift at first. terry
  10. Check all return lines from injectors, also the fuel delivery pump has two small plastic check valves, if they are not sealing it will lose it's prime. terry I suppose you should check all fuel lines!

  13. Are you saying you were told there were 6 synchro's? As Mack T said only synchro is on range. The other gears have what some guys call dogs, don't actually shift the gear, move the dogs to engage gear, gears stay engaged all the time, sound confusing? terry Maybe get an exploded view of trans to help you understand it.

  17. But on a tandem rear when you tilt front rear to change angle on front driveline you throw the short drive shaft out of alignment between rears. terry
  18. That air ride part should be available from mack, it was used way past "85", the early one will be a whole lot harder to get new, maybe somebody can come up with a used one off a broken hood. terry
