  1. What do you suppose that rig weighs? terry
  2. Looks like he is pretty proud of all his stuff!! terry
  3. new rails, sounds like a major undertaking, should make a real good truck for a lot of years, probably worth the hassle to stay away from all the emission problems. terryπŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. Don't know if there were any without muffler from the factory, anything I ever seen without a muffler somebody took it off and made the own brackets and robbed a skinny heatshield off of something else. terry
  5. The top gear in the six spd is direct, no overdrive, and a 4.17 rear with a direct trans means about 60 to 65 at top RPM. terry
  6. You will really like the top end, just don't know how deep first gear is with the 9 spd. Should run about 60 MPH at 1600 RPM'S, RTO does mean an overdrive right? terry
  7. Are you sure EH's were built that late? terry
  8. That's my idea of being green! terryπŸ‘πŸ‘

  12. Not a bad looking truck for a 55! terry
  13. It will work, just the low range is not as low, don't know if that will make any difference in what you are doing. terry
  14. Right you are, missed that no. 1 on the end. terry

  17. You suppose they miss all the emission problems? might be a little underpowered, but run trouble free.πŸ‘πŸ‘ terry
  18. yes a real quick answer, to run the 12,13, or 18 you have to change rear ends, that T2070 is run with about a 5.50 rear. know if you change to a 4.17 rear you will have a real runner, but your kind of under powered with the 300 horses. terry
  19. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ terry
  20. Real simple to do, surprised they still have kits for it.πŸ‘ terry
  21. The truck that I drove was a dump, not a good combo for a tractor, Pretty underpowered, does your 350 pull up to that 60MPH pretty good? As for as them temperatures the worse thing I have found is being plugged between intercooler and radiator. taking intercooler clear out and steaming will help alot That E7 350 is a good engine. On that 676 engine, years ago I put a dump together with that engine and a 12 spd. overdrive with 4.17 rears and the pump turned up to 2300 RPM's it would surprise a lot of people. terry
  22. It's hard to see but that looks like a 67 series trans. terry
  23. There was a E7 maxidyne up to about mid 90's they used the 6,7and 8spd with that real wide overdrive, and used about a 5.50 or so rear ratio. terry I drove one for about 4 years
  24. I liked that double coin RLB 450 for a dump truck, the only downside it hold a million little rocks to be kicked out! terry
  25. Only thing you can not bridge any weight. terry plus easy to put to much weight on steer axle.
