  3. I know this is a shot in the dark here, I have a set of cummins rebuilt injectors still in the box, part# 3018840PX, PTD injectors, can anybody tell me which engine these are for, and if anybody would be interested in them? terry
  4. you better get a engine manual for that engine, I know the valve lash is real critical with a engine brake. terry
  5. Insurance keeps a lot of people from retiring at 62. terry
  6. If you are going slow before you get into something slick you can engage power divider, you just can't engage when wheels are spinning that is where you have to come to a stop and engage the divider. I have done this for 40 years on macks and no divider troubles. terry
  7. Wonder if this is a B75 instead of a B77 as the ad states, A B77 should be a cummins with the oil filter on the outside on drivers side? terry
  8. Love to hear the answer on this, where I used to work we always changed these brake cans to the regular ones with no problems. terry
  9. Was the Lanova diesel used in the late E models? I know of a local one with that engine. terry

  15. Could be a trouble free set up, I had a DM once with a 285 and 12spd with 4.17,s and the engine would run to 2300 RPM,s, it was a real sleeper!! terry
  16. Most all are reduced to about 60 pounds. terry
  17. A price up front will weed out a lot of responses. terry
  18. Not a bad price for all that work that has been done, if your into that kind of conversion. terry
  19. Right behind fill plug on left side is a flat area, scrape with a putty knife then a wire brush, there will be a TRT72 or 720, that will tell what front box is, back box is always a overdrive on a triplex or quad. terry Also a aluminum back box will be a TRTL series
  20. I would go with about a 5.13 ratio, is your triplex a single or double over? terry
  21. Just checked one of my old manuals 1969 version that exact model no. was TRDXL107 for the low hole one and a TRDXL1070 for the overdrive one. terry
  22. X107A is a six speed with air operated back box, a true twelve spd is 3 boxes all bolted together, a real long trans. terry
  23. When they went to the 107X, reverse was put on aux. stick, then you had 5spds. in reverse along with direct and a low gear, also 1071X had a lower low gear in the aux. terry
  24. no it was as I described above, It was before the X107 six spd, only made for a couple of years, I will dig in one of my old mack service manuals to check, If I remember it had an interlock to use the low range with the main in 1 st gear, and the overdrive one had to have the main in 5th gear. terry
