  1. looks like a copper line with a compression fitting, there is a ferrule on the copper line that is stuck in the threaded part of the fitting, grab the line with pliers and wiggle back and forth, should come out of fitting. terry

  12. was sitting here wondering does the low sulphur fuel do anything to the old pre L/S engines? Do you have to add anything to the fuel now for the older engines? And I bet the bio-fuel is another question all together. terry
  13. No tag, it is stamped in the case, you might have to wire brush it to see it. terry

  18. Are you sure it is a 300 horse? maybe post a couple pics of the engine. If the engine is original , not a 300. terry
  19. i have seen hydraulic disc brakes on the front, but not very common. terry
  20. The duplex will hold up on a hobby truck, just no lugging or heavy hauling with it. I ran a 237 in front of a quad for years, with no problems, but i was the only driver. terry

If the block is out of a cabover the number is clear on the back of block, right below where block and head meet, will be hard to see in a r model, have use a mirror maybe, a reman mack engine should have a tag on it, maybe torn off. looks like a T676, but cam and lifters might be the same on a 675 and 676 engine. terry
  23. Are them pyro temps loaded or empty? terry
  24. Them old dogs will work circles, out in the field like that, around them new emission choked trucks that they can't keep running without a warranty. terry
