    there real good people there, a few years ago terry manders shipped me a rebuilt DM cab with absolutely no money up front, he had a truck coming this way shortly, and said put a check in the mail when you can, not many people around like that anymore. terry

    That is a terrific drive line set up, really good with 4.17 rears, I had a DM dump set like that years ago, it would keep up with almost any truck on the road, surprised a lot of other trucks when you stepped into it, the smoke would fly and be gone! terry Also forgot to say the pump was turned up to 2300 RPM's when you needed it! It would really smoke then.

    It definetly pays to shop around anymore, can't believe what you can save now, used to be when you signed up with a company you just stayed with them, prices might only go up a few dollars each year, not anymore! terry

    Yeah I spent "69" there, believe I went down RT. 1 from Tuy Hoa to Dong Ba Thin in a crane when my unit moved. terry

    Also gone are the days when you could go to a mack dealer, tell them what you want and go back to get it, or knew the part number by memory, all they want now is a seriel number, or give you a blank stare! terry

    if you are talking that bracket with the ground hooked to it, if memory serves me right, I think it was part of the mid sixty's mack that had llinkage rods for the clutch instead of the cable. terry
