  1. Hey this is my first try at asking a question on this site. I have a 1960s vintage Mack DM-600 which I have inherited. Noticed it has some pretty bad cracking around the cab mounts. Would like to get a few more years of service, as it's a really solid running truck. I saw these weird brackets pictured in the attached photo (one on the frame, also used for the shock, and one on the cab). I'm wondering if once upon a time, they held some kind of cab mount or something. If some part of cab mounting assembly was missing, that would explain how beat up the existing mounts are. Any ideas?
