  1. A lot of the early B's were like this, you had to pack the inner bearing with grease and the outer ran in the gear oil, just knock the middle seal out and get a inner seal to run in the oil, don't have a part number for a seal, terry

  5. If it has the original engine, on a cabover the engine number is stamped in the back side of the block right below the head gasket, you might have to scrape with a wire brush. terry
  6. I have a feeling he has a real old single disc clutch that was before you adjusted them on the pressure plate like a double disc is. the only adjustment is in the linkage. terry
  7. Looks like what we called in the service a 10 ton tractor, they had V8 cummins engines, they were a real horse at the time. "69" in Viet Nam. terry
  8. No I don't think it would, the R700 hood was about 8 or 10 inches longer, I sure somebody else will post with some info . terry
  9. Don't think there is near enough room for that cat. engine in a regular R model, the older R700's were used with cat and cummins engines. terry

  11. As long as the bushing dimensions are the same then I would think they would interchange. terry
  12. I am not sure if the trunnion height is the same between the spring and the solid walking beam trunnions. terry
  13. I believe on the back box, or front box, either box will fill the whole trans, right side lower plug, the upper is a magnetic plug for fine pieces, some run 90 weight gear oil and some run a 85/140 gear oil. terry

  16. All depends of what kind of weight your hauling, they have a terrible wide gap between fourth and fifth gear. terry
  17. I wear them same style of redwings, have for about 30 years, and love them, would not wear a different boot at all. terry oh and on a different note, love that MB too!!👍

  19. Might be to far for you, try Weldons truck parts, Omaha,nebr, they are good at finding obsolete brake parts, ask for Dallas. terry
  20. there real good people there, a few years ago terry manders shipped me a rebuilt DM cab with absolutely no money up front, he had a truck coming this way shortly, and said put a check in the mail when you can, not many people around like that anymore. terry

  24. not always made there, there is a local spring shop that makes there own springs, but where did the steel come from? terry
