  1. Also gone are the days when you could go to a mack dealer, tell them what you want and go back to get it, or knew the part number by memory, all they want now is a seriel number, or give you a blank stare! terry

  3. if you are talking that bracket with the ground hooked to it, if memory serves me right, I think it was part of the mid sixty's mack that had llinkage rods for the clutch instead of the cable. terry

  6. On that item that you labeled what is this, it is what your needing a fuel primer. unscrew that wingnut and tip that to one side and pump the handle up and down to prime the fuel system, might take quite a few strokes but it will prime it up. terry
  7. Anything brought back to life is better than scrap! terry
  8. original engine would have been a 673 or 711 depending on the year of the truck, a little early for a 250 horse engine, a lot of guys changed them early engines to a 237 when needed, they were more common to find and will fit right in. terry

  13. Where a lot of guys get confused on lifting cabs is they think they can roll down window and lift through door window opening, a no no will damage door for sure. terry

  17. I have seen a RB with the extended hood, but not sloped, the valueliners I have seen I think were RL's or RS's, does this one fit in one of them catagories? terry
  18. Never seen a valueliner with the extended hood and a slight slope with the hood, of course the have some different combination down under! But it is a real beautiful truck!!👍👍 terry
  19. Don't know if it is a specific problem, but I have had mack engines use that much oil for years without any other problems. terry
