Never thought about that. I also more like European lights regardless 4 round headlights are more exotic overhere. By the word those European lights exist of English RHD version also with the different light pattern but the same outer look.

My MH isn't E7 but E6-350. And it's 1991. Cabovers are the most common overhere although I didn't miss a chance to own one of Mack.

Interesting point about the head lights - I always thought the ones on the car are European style and XJS's were sold in the US with double round beams.

Here's what I had dancing around. If the memory serves I used an oxigen torch and a puller. Hammer doesn't count. Actually when you heat up it's too important to warm up fast. This way an outer part expands before much heat is transferred to an inner one what follows with its expansion also. So as more powerful a torch is as better. But don't overheat

I'm pretty shure every thing with 5th wheel overhere has them. Both my R's are not an exception although it's their Canadian heritage.

Drooling,drooling,drooling... I need to put some amount of fuel on my $ card, spent all the reserve on Winfall wimmins truck parts. Need to go to a bank and buy them $$ wich became 1.5 times expensive recently. Although the most trouble is 20 cm of snow fail from the sky yesterday and it's so nice to tackle with Lanova engine in the warm shop.

The evilbay page tells "1 bid" and "reserve not met". Interesting they wrote in description the origial owner was an owner-operator. Wonder how did he own 63 rigs being operating them personally Too might be B&D truck by the colors and the short wheel base. Although that one is #63 and of 1988 and my one was #31 of 1991.

Mark, Nice work and the good truck. I also agree with other's opinion on the color choice. Glad to see you could spend the time required. That's always a problem with modelling.

I'd fit a puller what I currently have, pre-load it and hit an arm by side near the shaft. A counter support with a big hammer is a good option. Make 3-4 good hits, if no luck apply some heat but not much. About paint will start burning off. If no luck repeat all that with a larger puller.

Wow, beautiful scenaries! Mountain passes are neat to make pics although it's a different deal to cruise them with a load in winter. By some reason I missed the point when you swapped the rig. Nice looking T600 of the color of snow. Thank you for sharing.

Looking on the plate script it seems to me as Iranian aftermarket swap from the earlier Mack model they produced locally after the war. I like them (I don't mean Iranians but their early Macks) because they looked like built basically as WW2 NR's.

Nice little truck. Sometimes I think you guys used to see things too straight. Isn't it a bad idea to buy such a toy and than make a holiday trip from coast to coast? I have some doubts everybody goes from coast to coast every summer or at least every other. Just a thought with a bit of kidding. -
