  1. Looks to be a 34.000 stack of springs. terry
  2. So that would be a mack engine? Very solid looking truck! terry
  3. Losing it's prime on the return side?
  4. I think you could use the 673 flywheel on the 675 engine, I ran a quad behind a 675 engine with a single disc clutch for years, but I was the only driver. But when you talk a double disc clutch where a single was you really open up a can of worms! A double disc has a longer input shaft, a deeper bell housing, which also puts the trans mounts farther back. Not to mention you also need a clutch brake with a double disc set up. terry
  5. If the whole truck is as clean as the one pic. it is not a bad price at all. terry
  6. Them constructors have to be getting kind of rare.
  7. I put a U model cab on a DM, It was a unbolt and bolt in installation. It was a mid 80's cab on a 1970 frame. terry
  8. What do you call later year models?
  9. I have been around a ton of RD.s, never seen a RD emblem.
  10. Also changing trans. you might have to change rears to get a 60MPH top speed. terry
  11. Haven't actually bought any new parts for quite awhile, went to local mack dealer yesterday for the outfit I work for, picked up a dual air guage for a truck, about fell over when I signed the ticket, $170.00 for one made in Mexico guage! terry
  12. Definetly an early type air filter.
  13. That is a original lift pump, no primer on it, the fuel originally came from tank to primary filter, than to suction side of pump then pushed it through secondary filter then to injection pump. And they didn't alway have the primer pump on the lift pump. I would guess the original pump failed, they only have a couple of plastic check valves in them. terry
  14. First pic. in post #5 clearly shows the original lift or supply pump. terry
  15. I think the he has the SPS switch that has four battery cables hooked to it, i think it was a later SPS switch
