    Sounds like it is only a yard truck.

    Something is not right here, I have driven a RD with seven spd. and 5.55 rears, topped out right at 70 MPH.

    If you change to a different trans. you will also have to change the rears.

    The early ones were basically a 5 speed with a back box, with direct and low on the other stick, or a direct and overdrive on the other.

    I can second that, had one in a DM dump, with 4.17'sand the pump set for 2300 RPM's, it was a real runner. Terry
