  1. well it will never again be built in 8 months! washingtion state dept. of labor and indrustries will see to that! the combined saftey meetings now will total 8 months, the enviromental inpact study will take 2 years to complete, and the job will be over budget before the contract is signed.................sorry just had to vent a little.
  2. where have all the experts gone? come on guys some one must have something on this
  3. maybe our motto should be ASSIMILATE before you INSEMANATE!
  4. Im thinking of changing out the old hendrickson biscut on my superliner and go to the ar2 walking beam converson, my question is has any one done this to their truck or have feed back on this converson good or bad?
  5. Pretty damn cool that a 27year old working truck gets that honor! WELL DONE SUPERDOG!
  6. aldso check your manifold pressure if puff limiter checks out the charge air cooler may have broke a seam or tubes also check all boots on the cooler
  7. i think you will have to remove the selector valve and see whats going on, it might be a broken centering spring if it was other debris in the system i wouldnt think it would lower. because the center spool land couldnt go past center.
  8. that nr10 still looks good in her work dress!
  9. I would be happy with a EXTRA HIGH SETTING my self! as for the balance of the engine i would think if you did either both front heads or either rear heads it would work. a person should study the firing order to make sure the gap is fairly even between canceled cylinders.
  10. got notified last month i will be loosing my coverage at the end of the year, i guess i am not paying enough to not see a doctor! I dont even fill my deductable, and now i need a higher priced policy to not see a doctor!!!!!! I think it might be time to say screw it and just use my VET, he still makes house calls and his x-rays are damn sure cheaper!
  11. drivable until it got parked there! LOL
  12. I love a mack 12sp. in a dump truck! 5 speeds reverse is great! you have a gear for all conditions and applications.
  13. the small one should be the air pressure regulator, there should also be a air filter mounted to a bracket on the rear of the trans it looks like a spin on oil filter, drain the air tanks brfore removing! local parts store should be able to get you one if a dealer isnt close.
  14. now there's a selling point!................NOT!
  15. Tom, thanks for the pics! i had never seen a farmall with a grader converson before, nice to see some one kept it fron the scrapers! was the brass pole emporiem open? i see you checked in on the blue truck from several diffrent angles!
  16. when were they removed and how were they stored? that would be my questions, if they have been outside this whole time i think i would pass,if stored out of the direct sun light and its a hobby truck i would be tempted to use......but i am kind of a cheap bastard too!
  17. take the screws out of your signal stat and check the contacts, sounds like one is bent or covered in debris.
  18. asking price?
  19. lots of info here! in your spare time grab some shop manuals and start reading, the mack manuals are good as well as motors manuals, get some midland and bendix air brake books as well as batco, webb, and eculid suspensen books and fill your mind full! and good luck!
  20. that first cat tractor looks as if it might be the rear of a quad 9, as i didnt see any brackets for a winch or pipe boom.
  21. with the solid outside rib on those tires they should work fine for drive rubber,as long as you dont encounter grassey areas, mud, or snow.
  22. I found mine at kenworth northwest they had to order them, as they no longer stock the "smaller" ones.
  23. nah too many exhaust flappers for me to listen to, not to mention i'd need a shoe horn to get into it and a keg of tannerite to get out!
  24. faulty air compressor?
  25. also check the cabpower relay ( it's under the ash tray pannel) the blower motor, engine brake, volt meter, and a few misc. things are run off the relay but it can quit working and unless you watch for a low voltage volt meter. you maynot realize its not working. It will cause the issues as you named above!
