Thanks for the post, i talked with e.o.c. yesterday and they said they would be in place by the end of the week,in the a.m. im going over to the west flank of the fire to the cat line to help a buddy of mine get his track chain back on after breaking a pin. Then source new track chain for him to see how fast we can swap out for new.

well today was spent giving the national guard boys directions on where to find rural homes in our area to give level 2 (fire is close get the stuff you want packed and be ready to leave)notices too. and preping areas for firefighters to find water fills and meeting with emergancy management folks. It dont look like we are going to avoid the fire in our fire dist. its 9 miles southof us now it moved 3+ miles yesterday but very little today so far but forecasted for more south winds tomarrow the fire split last night so we now have 2 fronts to worry about. thats all i have for now, gearhead

Guys I still here, the deaths were in a fire 3 fires west of me, bad deal killed 3 burnt a 4th. been on the dozer for 16 hours then got toned out with the tender, tonasket was threatned (evacuated) wind shifted and so far so good there. then toned to a false alarm 25 miles from tonasket in our dist. (loomis) tonasket is ok for now so i'm going to catcha nap and see what happens in the am. shits not good here, my doughnut hole is getting smaller. if we get past the forecasted high winds ( with mid day reversal ) our themp will drop 15 degrees and humidity should climb above 20%. post more when i can gearhead

just a note to let you guys know i'm still here! but things are getting ugly!!!! just got in the house helping mobilize equipment . just got done getting a d7 on a lowboy to go to omak the city is threatened strong northwest winds reversed several fires (wind had been out of the south) fire has jumped hwy 97 and heading south we lost long distance calling,cell phones and 911 so fire districts are working as dispatch centers for emergency calls. we have red flag warnings for the next 3 days for wind and low humidity oh and the winds are susposed to keep changing directions. all logging and heavy construction shut down so equipment can be used for fire use. right now so far im in the doughnut hole all fires are a safe distance from the ranch and my cattle pastures. thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

i dont know about hell on earth, just a summer in the okanogan valley.....lol but they can cause you to talk to God every so often!

good we are on inmate and national guard crews prior to yesterdays storms..........also the crashed air plane members turned out to be a couple of guys from just up the road from me one a u.s. resident the other a Canadian resident down here at his lake property. the guys went for a sight seeing trip and crashed, the piliot was in his 80's and a local orchardist,damn nice guy too I'll miss him!

thanks for the thoughts guys, were still ok here this morning wind is forcasted to blow again up to 15 mph and we may get a trace of rain up to a tenth of an inch. wish i could post some pics but my phone is constapated and wont send pics now. and i dont know how to lift pics off of face book. the chelan fire has some awsome pics of dc10's dropping retardent in town also sakorsky's ( i know i misspelled that) suching water out of lake chelan to drop on the fires.

we will be on the national news soon! major lightning storm last 20 hours or so whole damn country is on fire except in our fire district (so far) large fire less than 10 miles south of me 3 large fires to the east of me and another further west of me. severe wind has fixed wing aircraft grounded,state is out of resources in our area, another large fire burning in the town of Chelan Wa. 80 miles south of me, plus a 6 thousand acre burning up lake from the fire in town. just heard that the chelan fire has jumped the columbia river to the east and now burning up mcneil canyon towards Waterville, that wont be good all dryland wheat fiels up there. wind is still blowing here tonight, and will be on pins and needles for a while, a plane crash thursday started a 2000 acre fire east of me took out the old cow pasture that our family used to rent, talked to a neighbor that still helps out on that ranch and all he said was it wasnt good dont yet know if cows are lost, suspect some will be scattered into Canada. two souls lost in the plane crash, not yet identified.

scott, look at the picture that full floater posted, you see the throttle arm where the throttle linkage attaches? then look about 2 inches below the connection, do you see the cresent shaped rectangular slot with the metal tab in the center of it. now have some one mash the throttle pedal all the way to the stop bolt under the pedal,now did you see any movement in that cresent shaped slot? if not you need to adjust your linkage. either at the pedal or on the pump splines. that sloted opening allows for overtravel of the throttle pedal once the rail has reached its internal stop in the pump. when properly set the tab inside the cresent should move slightly as full throttle is reached at the pedal stop. hope this helps. TimmyB what have you heard about the raydan? I was going to check on it as well, does it also reuse the walking beams without having to change other stuff? i will tryto do some internet searching to see what i can learn. thanks for the reply!

tis the season for them little buggers, been using about 3 cans of spray a week here between buildings and equipment, seems if you leave a machine untouched for more than 5 days you have to KILL them so you can reoccupy it. them ground wasps are just nasty bastards! usally find them when moving cows,and they arnt happy after you run 50+ head over their nest! had another run in with them obamma wasps and they were angrier than a black panther meeting! they built a basketball sized nest under the loading chute after about the 4th. cow danced her way up the chute they came out like a bunch of looters in fergerson!so we tear gassed um with some exhaust off of a pickup and a chunk of poly pipe!

is it a single ot 2 disc clutch? also is it a push or pull style? if you post the manual info i'm sure we can help!
