  1. its not very often you see one with the small diameter fuel tanks either............maybe that is what makes so pricey!
  2. for some reason I'm not at all surprised! if you want another good laugh go to a hardware store and ask for some oakum, could you picture our grand parents going into a store and asking for the stuff they used to get and the blank faces that they would get in return. I feel your pain and it will only get worse, try to find tee gauges for setting injectors on a Detroit diesel, you might be surprised to find a box of hens teeth with less searching.
  3. Ok I'm disappointed !...........no JAKE ! ............wonder what the decibel rating of it would be with JAKES?
  4. I just need some elf's to show up and wire and insulate the shop!...........after having 95+ homes burn up around here last summer it can be hard to find these little guys! ...........after thinking about what some of my neighbors are going through, if Santa skips my place and lands on theirs I'm good with that!
  5. as the Jeep owners have always told me Jeep stands for ......Just Empty Every Pocket
  6. sounds like you found your problem, but I would still flow time it to make sure that the timing is proper. I would hate to see it burn another piston.
  7. pad to air on 38.000 rears should be around 4750.00 but I have been waiting since august for my final price from Hendrickson and transport equipment. raydan has one too but much more pricy around 8800.00 good luck with the Hendrickson boys, I'm pissed! I couldn't run a business the way they have treated me that's for damn sure!
  8. strange to hear this, we ran 3406b 425hp along side of 400 macks and cummins and had great luck with the cats, the biggest complaint was the same as the macks ........no whooh! the engine brakes sucked in both compared to a cummins. my buddy's c-15's spend more time in the shop than our b mod's ever did
  9. Why dont we just look back to the fate of American Indian to see what happens a country adopts too many people with a different belief, I'm pretty sure they never figured that they would be on reservations after seeing the first 3 boats come ashore. However our CHIEF would love to see us disarmed and behind a fence, so then he could concentrate on climate change!
  10. OIL N H20 ............NEED30WT.......... 2 NOISY...........SMKSHO.........NOGO..........ST.OILER..........BLNCOCK.........BUGKILLR.........OILSLIC........WETSPOT.........well that's all 4 now (blown cock)
  11. Guys have a good one! .........turkey is too expensive so...........I thawed out a 14 lb. prime rib...........life's good!
  12. Randy do you have any fair grounds around you? Ours will store r.v. and boats in some of the barns or exhibit buildings, just a thought.
  13. grnleaker.............I bet that personalized plate is not yet taken
  14. those casings should be regroovable , so for a minimal charge you could have some good tires that would last a long time, and yes 900 for 8 tires of virgin casings sounds good to me but I'm used to buying 11r24.5 I know the low pro 22.5 are worth about 25 bucks a casing
  15. that ought to make a dog purr.
  16. damn it, I guess them U models need a Honda 90/110 kick stand it fell over on the lite side this time!..............looking good !
  17. why not get hysterical plates.................OILSTAIN........... just a thought...................rotflmao
  18. Ken, you could just get a selfie stick and look down at sun bathing wimmins next door with you phone a lot cheaper than buying a bucket truck! I think they will get tired of the chain saw noise and will know what you are doing when they see no trimmed trees!
  19. don,t know what I did wrong but mrsmackpaul your response is on top of the last page.
  20. yes concrete can be poured in the cold, but if the water in the concrete freezes before it evaporates, it will cause the surface to scale off. the ground under the slab isn't froze. I didn't mention but I also put that tekfoil bubble wrap under the slab, so that should also help to protect the slab. Ken I haven't heard of this, only the anti-freeze to put into the finish power trowel operator! But I will check on it.
  21. thanks, I have a few 300,000 btu propane heaters I can use, but I really don't want to screw up a 30yd. pour, but I don't want to wait 2 weeks and hope the weather mellows out either!
  22. Ok guys any of you cold weather mud guys? looking to pour a slap in the new shop on Monday but the weather is forecasted to turn cool to say the least, Thursday high 24-26 lows around 15 I have the shop enclosed on 3 sides and tonight i put a tarp on the other to close it in. I have enough concrete blankets to cover the slab, my question is how warm do I need to keep the building? 35ish or so ? the mix will be 6 sack with hot water and I may add 1% high early...........any thoughts
  23. try a cat construction equipment wrecker, a cat 631c or d series earth mover should have what you need.
  24. A turbo charged and "blown," closet two stroker .........not sure what good the turbo is in that application, .....but blown is good!
