  1. HUMMM, some things fishy between the story,s here! the one i got earlier was that they started a back burn to protect their hay stacks from an approaching wild fire on BLM property, thus adding to to the acres burned and that was why the judge gave them a reduced sentence ,
  2. If i would have done the radiant heat that was the plan, but the cash difference and the thought of having a zone failure changed my mind in favor of the furnace.
  3. Rowdy, I think you pretty well nailed it, those of us out west are just sick and tired of gubberment over reach, they are the steam roller and us rural land owners are the asphalt, every week it seems that another choking regulation is being discussed, a farmer or rancher now needs 3 people to to keep him in business, 1 to do the paper work, 1 to fight with the regulations and the environmentalists and 1 to do the daily work of making a living. I don't agree with the Bundy's but throwing the 2 guys back into prison is horse shit! and I'm glad some one is making some noise about it, just wish that story was getting more exposure.
  4. I will be in the crap now!...... some of the things Mack did don't sit well with me, If I owned RD I would relocate the turn signals, that 45 degree angle coming off the fenders drives me nuts!....looks like the truck has ears! and the superliner I I would change the headlights out to rectangular, the round just don,t look right to me on that square front, and i think a R model cab looks homey with out a visor. so I guess what I'm saying is you own it do what makes you happy and tell the rest of the world to kiss your dogs tail!
  5. Randy, I was going to........but then found a waste oil furnace, and decided to go that route.
  6. boy......... that waitress will earn her 50 cent tip!..............wonder if she will be a winfall transplant?
  7. sure looks like a chelsea-muncie pto unit.
  8. Ok the shop got its north face installed on the 26th and 27th of Dec . the exhaust tan is installed and the 3 ceiling fans are up and the electrician is to be here tomorrow. got the plumbing roughed in on wed. I'm a very happy camper! Next is the inspection on the wiring then get the insulation crew out here, I'm going with hi-density in the ceiling r-21 and standard r-19 in the walls, it will be covered with a flame retardant vapor barrier.
  9. am I missing something? what special knowhow did Ronald have to qualify him? just my 2 cents worth. all it takes is, want too, a spine, brass balls, morals, and honesty! your cabinet positions are what make up the rest of the job. so its not so much the person as its the persons ability to place competent people in the right places
  10. is the wheelbase growing too? or just the air ride swap.
  11. glad the cold air is staying east ! we were only -2 this morning and 15 now. went on a medical run early this evening for a woman with frost bite to both feet, not good! frozen last night and not properly cared for. Ready for lows in the 20's and highs in the mid 30's
  12. Alabama ROLL ON 18 wheeler . My all time fav. would be WOLF CREEK PASS C.W. McCall
  13. well our neighborhoods look a lot alike , you must be in western Montana, I have never seen trees that tall in eastern Montana
  14. without more pics of the rw I would say if it was in my section of the woods it would bring 7-15 at auction
  15. Well gang hope all goes well next year! I have been busy getting the shop closed in, and was able to do it!!! will post pics in a few days. have a few things to blow up later tonight at the rodeo grounds, the 9pm. display for the kids is 4200 shots and some fountains, the big display will be at 12, 2500 rounds, from little cracker shots to 4" motar rounds. That ought to shake the valley! Well need to go unload the goose neck trailer 2 units of OSB for the shop interior walls and all the stuff for the rest room. HAPPY 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. you will expand your 4 letter vocabulary when you change out that valve for sure as I have always been told and believe ,the most important thing on a truck is its brakes, a truck that cant move don't hurt anyone, but one that don't stop can KILL!
  17. you know you could save a bunch on freight, and I would take it off your hands!
  18. that may or may not be some very nice storage! I may or may not be jealous of a fire haul with a concrete floor and more than 2 60watt light bulbs. Nice job on getting the storage, momma will know where to find you and the youngsters at now!
  19. albert, I will say no! is it coming from the top of the valve or the bottom of the valve? does it make any difference if the "park" brake is applied or released, given the vintage of the truck the O-rings may have failed in the treddle valve, but other issues can cause this as well, need more info.
  20. Good parts people are a gift from God!................the others came up from Hell ........cuz they were too dumb for the Devil to deal with! When I was working as a field mechanic I had a book full of numbers that I could call for emergency parts, I would make contact with these people as we did work in their area ,and would do as much business with them as I could, as long as they didn't over charge me. Had several great business that would let me send my UPS shipments to them and they would deliver them with my parts orders, hard to find that kind of service any more.
  21. is that an egr engine? if so sounds like a sticky egr valve and is stealing your boost from the turbo, if a non egr engine I would check the turbo sounds like a variable vane actuator issue
  22. sure looks like a oil pump !.............more so than any thing else............in fact if it isn't a oil pump I will eat my own hat.
  23. yes it still baffles me as how cherry prices on my end can swing by as much as 60+ cents a pound, but the store price is several dollars a lb. and stays about the same every year..........hummmmmm. Some middle man is making a whole lot of money!!!!! I need to find a 5000 gal fuel tank so I can take advantage of the whole fuel deal!
  24. Paul, if you need a break from the summers heat come on over! and cool off for a few days, I could wire it myself but the insurance co. wants a licensed electrician to do the work. the electrician called me today and said it will be around the 1st. of jan. before I see him, so I will be doing a little temporary work so that I have lights working so I can quit dragging my light stand around.
  25. no drums out side just a large drip pan and some cheese cloth!..........remember he's going GREEN!
