  1. Looks like a bargain to me.......NOT!
  2. Nice Superliner. Were you doing the driving?
  3. I don't remember seeing a N model in real life. For the uneducated.... How was the N different from the Ford? What engine was in the N? Could a Ford be made look like a N?
  4. It is getting ridiculous. Everyone is trying to "cash in" on the Super Bowl. Even the Weather Channel is having a special during halftime (although likely will be better than the halftime show). In the coming months stay tuned for "How weather changed the Super Bowl". BTW, I don't plan to watch any of the CRAP! I am staying here on BMT (at least until 9pm).
  5. FYI, all E6s were mechanical (2 or 4 valve). Early E7s could be both mechanical or V-Mac.
  6. PM sent....thanks!
  7. Yes I am interested. Post it in your gallery. TIA
  8. And it is a 2013 model too with a 685cc engine.

    wassup?

Welcome back RandyP! BTW, how does "fried computer" taste? Do you need to put ketchup on it?
  10. Wow...after looking at their website listings I would not buy anything from them What is a K-700? Cab-over R? Actually looks like the K-700. 600cc and 673cc engines? If they can't list it correctly, not worth the time to look. IMO.
  11. Bulldog Magazine with Ryder Cruiseliner....
  12. Sad news. At least his legacy carries on with his pics.
  13. Nice "frozen" pics. Mug shots....no comment. And lastly getting motion sickness watching the boobage. Looking at the current mug shot and boobage....are those your boobs Tom?

    F MODELS

So how about the rest of the story, if you may....location? history? specs? other details?
  15. Tell that to Hank and company.
  16. Before retirement, I drove 60 miles one-way (home to office) from Canton to Cleveland eastside. The drive was usually 60 minutes in early morning (no traffic) and drive home ~75 minutes (traffic). The weather in Canton could be completely different than in Cleveland (lake effect). Ice is worse than snow. My record for "longest time" was 5 hours. So I went to the office and home prepared for the worst. Also, PATIENCE was required along with COMMON SENSE. You would not believe the number of 4WD vehicles sitting in the ditch. Personally I don't blame the Governor nor the Mayor. They aren't babysitters. Where were the highway managers/supervisors, etc.?
  17. You are correct about the engine, more soot goes into the oil to reduce the particulates going out the exhaust. However, all engine oil had to meet CJ-4 specs including Delo 400. The same parent company may market several brands (i.e. Chevron/Texaco) but the formulations are likely different, additive package and treat rate. Also the additives may be from different suppliers. Engine oil formulations along with gear oil are VERY COMPLEX. Years of research and money goes into developing new formulations to meet the new specs. Another item that needs mentioning, the oil is developed in the lab running engine tests with "best guess" engine designs. And field testing of new oils is done in "older technology" engines. It is not until the engine OEs start producing the latest engines that one finds "downfalls" of the new lubricant (and that takes at least 500K miles). So 3-4 years after a new engine is introduced does one know the strengths/weaknesses of a lubricant. Same goes for gear oil. One of the biggest issues I had as a test engineer was getting "in bed" with engine OEs to evaluate new lubricants in new hardware before production. So likely the engine OE developed the new engine using "old technology" lubricants.
  18. Truck World - is that where you get your free hot dogs?
  19. Article by Jim Park posted on HDT website..... http://www.truckinginfo.com/blog/on-the-road/story/2014/01/snow-happens.aspx?utm_campaign=Headline-News-20140131&utm_source=Email&utm_medium=Enewsletter
  20. IIRC the majority of the "complaints" were using Mobil oil.
  21. What is your application and do you need all those gears?
  22. Mack ran several "teaser" ads before introducing the CH. One ad stated "If you wanted rounded fenders, you could of had them in 195x". The ad showed a front side view of a B fender. I saved all those ads but have no idea where they are now.
