  1. Received this from a friend....FYI Saul Alinsky - Rules for Radicals Many of you have heard his name but know little of the man and what he believed. Saul David Alinsky, was an American community organizer and writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of the modern community organizing movement. He is most noted for his book Rules for Radicals and is a self proclaimed Communist. Died: June 12, 1972, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA Education: University of Chi thiscago Spouse: Irene Alinsky Books: Rules for Radicals, Reveille for Radicals Here's how to create a socialist state Saul Alinsky-style: ***There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the MOST important. 1) HEALTHCARE – Control healthcare and you control the people. 2) POVERTY – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live. 3) DEBT – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. 4) GUN CONTROL – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state. 5) WELFARE – Take control of every aspect of their lives .(Food, Housing, and Income) 6) EDUCATION – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school. 7) RELIGION – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools. 8) CLASS WARFARE – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor. All of this is well underway in the U.S. Do not make the bad judgment of thinking that Obama is screwing everything up because of "inexperience"... It's all planned and everything is going according to plan.
  2. Thanks for the numbers. Mine are 4MR numbers.
  3. Are the part numbers different for early versus late side dogs? If so what are the numbers?
  4. Carl, Good idea! However, let it be known...."I will NOT stand next to the kettle and ring the bell."
  5. It happens to me occassionally, usually when I have a long reply or an attachment. Hmmm, maybe Barry is trying to tell me something. I don't think the electrons are aligned properly.
  6. I am not up on current pricing...but in my former life as a field test engineer I estimated $10K for an inframe that included reman heads. So your price does not sound out of line.
  7. Just found my Mack dealer book...yippee!!! Now I can sleep at night. The book is dated 1990 and lists Ballard (442 Southwest Cutoff) as the dealer in Worchester, MA. However I just snagged a 1974/75 Dealer directory on eBay and it lists Worchester Mack Sales and Service (420 Southwest Cutoff). Both have the same phone number.
  8. I have no comment!
  9. Marcel's MH has an extra rear axle. The extra weight will prevent it from nosediving.
  10. This issue surfaced at a Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) meeting several years ago. Late model Cummins ISXs had an issue with oil and fuel filter plugging. They "blamed" it on the oil and fuel. Let the finger pointing begin continue.
  11. MINUS 8,9, and 7 forecast for M, T, and W. Highs on T and W are single digits.....BRRRRR! 30 degrees forecast for the end of next week. It will feel like a heat wave. The propane bill for January will be OUTRAGEOUS!
  12. Yep, JD 430 3 cylinder Yanmar Diesel. Not many out there in good condition. The 420 and 318 Onan gassers, 332 Yanmar Diesel, and 322 Yanmar gasser still bring big $$ for nice ones.
  13. I say "DANG NICE EXCELLENT WORK"!!!!
  14. Is there a hose clamp near? I have seen clamps "loosen" in extremely cold temps. Now that I mention this I need to check the MH and my tractors...all are in the "deep freezer".
  15. Here we go again....fine snow all day on Tuesday with total of about 5". Low this morning is -7! Windy so there will be a lot of drifting. Forecast is for single digit lows and teens for highs till later next week. "Warm" this weekend in the low 20s...woohoo! At least we are almost thru January. Too dang cold to do anything....outside and inside.
  16. The Mack Museum is a great resource. A "nice" donation to the Mack Museum would be in order.
  17. Nice pics and nice shop. Thanks for posting. The new steering wheel looks good.
  18. what ice cream?
  19. kewl!
  20. Sorry to hear your story but what do you expect from a person who can't put the mirrors on correctly (both dogs facing out). BTW, the price is 2.500 (2 dollars and 50 cents?).
  21. Cheaper than a nursing home
  22. When I worked at Hagerstown, I was able to get a ride in one (1985/1986). Nice ride.
  23. What is attached on the rear?
  24. Still looking for NOS grille sections (6MF530M and 6MF531M). I contacted several "chrome" shops but nothing (business must be good). Any help locating NOS parts is DEFINITELY APPRECIATED.
  25. There are also several swap meets at Carlisle, PA. Likely the only one that might have parts is the Truck Nationals in August. I never attended the Truck Nationals so I do not know what you will find. Macungie and SPAAMFAA would be the main meets to possibly find parts. Link to Carlisle Events.... www.carsatcarlisle.com
