    I think the biggest problem would be the front of the cab, it has to be able to pivot when the back of cab goes up and down and also the back of hood where the cab moves. terry

    just remember two inches higher jack means your truck has to be two inches higher. terry

    A lot of the early B's were like this, you had to pack the inner bearing with grease and the outer ran in the gear oil, just knock the middle seal out and get a inner seal to run in the oil, don't have a part number for a seal, terry

    Make sure spindle is not cracked on the bottom. terry

    If it has the original engine, on a cabover the engine number is stamped in the back side of the block right below the head gasket, you might have to scrape with a wire brush. terry

    I have a feeling he has a real old single disc clutch that was before you adjusted them on the pressure plate like a double disc is. the only adjustment is in the linkage. terry

    Looks like what we called in the service a 10 ton tractor, they had V8 cummins engines, they were a real horse at the time. "69" in Viet Nam. terry

    No I don't think it would, the R700 hood was about 8 or 10 inches longer, I sure somebody else will post with some info . terry

    Don't think there is near enough room for that cat. engine in a regular R model, the older R700's were used with cat and cummins engines. terry

    That's what it is, used them for years. terry

    As long as the bushing dimensions are the same then I would think they would interchange. terry

    I am not sure if the trunnion height is the same between the spring and the solid walking beam trunnions. terry

    I believe on the back box, or front box, either box will fill the whole trans, right side lower plug, the upper is a magnetic plug for fine pieces, some run 90 weight gear oil and some run a 85/140 gear oil. terry

    Drove one for about 20 years as a owner operator, done real good for me! terry
