  1. Absolutely truth. Socialism being prohibit any private property for production sources functioned collecting some part of people's labour value to conduct it to different economical funds. So that was the same princip as a tax collecting, just not by means of money although natural labour. The trouble with that system was right in the poor control on the government functioning due to the authorized kind of that government and as follow low efficience of their work and bad economy. Some ones have different points of view such as influence of the war and Cold war politics but I think a system has it's hard stability being perfect and efficient. And vice versa. So the reason USSR was ended might be described just buy those words from Rowdy's post.
  2. I empty 'em either from time to time but prefere glass ones and made in Germany. Can go with local alu stuff too but it seems costy to be shipped anyway. And the same about Vodka
  3. It seems like you've almost forgot about some minor things in your inventory.
  4. That EPA thing seems to me as a very low chance to pass by. We all know or might think at least that the most of new requirements such as safety and ecology are headed not to the aims they are called of but to force consumers buy newly produced equipment. They governments must keep care about national interests and national automotive industry too as a part of it. That way they keep the track calling by other words "take money from a population (consumers) and bring them to an industry". Than getting taxes put them into social sector. And again to pay for consumption. Getting a fee from every money turn over makes some neat profit to those who controll the flow. Just kidding but I feel myself a true communist writing that above. To sorry but I'm shure all modern economies go such the way.
  5. Thank you for explaining that Tom. Honestly I had that thought either but was doubting on how those nice animals called correctly. Now I hope to remember it at least as long as the rest of my life. And thank you for the pictures. They're excellent to see, as always. Every cunning ass especially
  6. Do you mean when he take a dump??
  7. Looks the interior is decent. Out of likes already
  8. Wonder is that purple one FL700 a Hayward truck? The battery box together with air tanks on the side look like the ones on RL/RS.
  9. Nice thing! It's really cool if it will be saved. Doesn't take a great space relating to bunches of equipment some of us used to have in the yards. What is the trianble bracket under the frame in the center? Was the chassis designed either for a dump truck and tractor? Or is this one a conversion?
  10. Good plan Mike! Hope you'll put all that together relatively quick. I like the idea of using Camelback. But you will need to weld up the frame rail ends with some aluminium pieces anyway. At least it's difficult to imagine how to make alu rails longer adding a steel section. Was it Ok to keep the truck loaded on the rollback keeping onle one rear axle on the bed?
  11. I was wrong. My E6-350 makes up to 8-10 on a flat bobtailing. Recently I put a full throttle uphill on the top gear doing 50 MPH and saw 20 pci of boost.
  12. I might be interested in some minor things. Not sure about an easiness of shipping though. Front bumper looks good from the pic.
  13. Seems like a rare thing to me. Sure I'don't know, maybe some of them still passing along the streets. Just kidding. A thing costs as much as anybody wants to pay for, like we talk from time to time. Having no engine and tranny it seems those 5 grand will get much lower soon. Thank you for sharing Vin, it worth to pay attention.
  14. With that interior upgrate it could be used for living. Does it have a garage or shop in the rear compartment?
  15. As said above. Here are many model builders who might share their skills and experience with you. Would be nice to see any of your ready models. Vlad
  16. It's sad indeed. I was told from our member who has the same RW that there were only 5 Freedom Superdogs with a big bunk built and there were only 2 of them known including ther one he had. It was about a year back though. If the things keep that way indeed it seems you lost the track of some rare beast. Sorry to here about that misfortune. Sometimes it happens to any of us.
  17. That's pretty interesting. Thank you for sharing Karl.
  18. Seeing the amount of work done on it the cost seems fair to me. Is it B67? The hood looks short and I found nothing in description telling it b61 or other.
  19. Actually I just can't imagine how BIG that Mack should be. Hope we'll see it some day. Interesting crane setup on the RW.
  20. Cool looking tank truck! The original paint scheme worth some thinking on to be saved or reproduced either. If no real need to use it transporting fluids you might make a room inside the tank body for storage or a tea drinking on truck shows. Good luck on the project! Vlad
  21. That's a great looing truck you posted! Hope and wish it will last long enough for you. Or maybe forever You must be a proud company owner having such a beast in your fleet. Greetings from cool central Russia! Vlad
  22. It's a kind of off-topic but question-related. I personally don't know the answer for his question but hope as more we discuss as more people pay attention to the thread and more chances to help the topic starter either.
  23. Blue truck looks good! You might start doing work on your original truck and keep your eye for more parts during that. It sure will take some while until you have the most of the chassis done. Good luck on the project and welcome on here! Vlad
  24. Thank you for the thought Paul. That's what I read about. Cast iron being welded forms another christal structure in the area it cools off contacting with sorround metal. It means different physical properties and could crack down being stressed enough.
