  1. That Worcester thing is a candy. Wonder how many persons will try to get it keeping in mind its actual condition.
  2. Uffff, I missed this thread by some reason. looks like it was a great season. Best of luck to the continue!
  3. Hmmm... Now i'm in conclusion. Do you mean a hinged access door as a lower part of the grill as yellow truck has? Or any other door I can't see on the green one? Sharp looking RL by the word.
  4. The talk is only about Australian RW and only RW II. Being watching a picture of Superliner with a bullbar I noted that the head lights looked some "cunning". Or better to say more cunning than usual. I looked over many other images and found out interesting fact. Notice the heigth of head light units on the first pictures and the last ones in relation to the fender lower edge. The last style seems to me the same as American but Aussies have both of them.
  5. Welcome on board! Here is what you're looking for. Both the best place to learn about Macks and increase your English skills. You can trust me in that! Vlad And we all like pictures, that's true.
  6. Thank you for the explanation Mike. That was the old question of the kind you would like to get the answer but always miss a moment to pay attention to.
  7. Good deal! Unfortunately I miss this year. Too many current difficulties. Say hello to Rene.
  8. Good point on a drive shaft Timmy. But the folks I was told from meant more about the load capacity.
  9. Yes, the gates roll to a side, and I have a power drive for them with control on a key hanger. Fences are traditional overhere. Earlier years wooden fences were common. The most people who live in a privat house prefere to have a strong fence and a dog inside. Police doesn't use to come in minutes after call so you better keep your doors closed in the night. Guns aren't easy thing to have here either so not everybody has them. It's generally calm recently but you can't be sure some one not steal just aluminium parts off your property to bring them to recycling for a bottle of Vodka worth. By the word I'm not in a country. Just 10 km from the city of Moscow. So it's something like 5 miles from Newark airport.
  10. Very good thing to have for sure. How are they easy to fit/remove? I saw such stuff offered new overhere, about 20 grand. But was told they're good only to hook a truck by its rear end, not front. Any suggestions why and is there any sence in it?
  11. Don't know what the trip worth but seems like a good find. Especially if those guys don't disturb the frame much removing the engine and rears. What is that grill style? Early series RS/RL or something else?
  12. Looks like the problem is solved. Leon, did you have END711 naturally aspirated and swap it with 673 ci 300+ hp?
  13. Sometimes it's difficult.
  14. No, that's neigbour's one. Those folks are from Azerbaijan, a big family. They have a big balcony and can enjoy watching my yard full of old iron. That area is my second land, just across the steet from the main one. I have two brick buildings on the main. The big "the house" is actually a shop. The smaller one is where I live with a shop in the ground floor
  15. I would say the rear fenders are of the kind Made in Australia. The same about the paint scheme.
  16. The interior is virgin and the chassis keeps all the paint on. Nice condition if not just oversprayed.
  17. Damn impressive but I can't figure out how Mack AC in the middle pic could carry such the load being not sunk into the ground with pretty slim front wheels? LTL logger at the top pics is really beautiful.
  18. The trailers look very straight and strong. Hope they will serve a long while being parked. It would be nice to build shelves inside them to lay out small parts but seems as a lot of job. Nice candy store pictures. That tandem B and L-model look having potential.
  19. Seems like a nice B to me. Sure worth to pay attention. Thank you for sharing. Vlad
  20. Hi, Telling fast that's not as easy deal as you currently think. For first, there are US and Aussie Macks and frames are different. Most every classic Aussie Mack was built with R-model style frame. R, RW, MH e t.c. I'm not an Austalian bloke though so could be wrong. American R's were Eastern (Macungie) and Western (Hayward) models. Eastern's had frame's front end wider and lower section than back of cab area. Western's (wich were called RS/RL) had straight rails from front to end of constant heigth. MH's had almost different frames of the style Superliner II had. You need to keep in your mind that RWiI and early RW had different frame styles and you're about done figuring all that. RW1 had the frame style of Cruiseliner. I can help you with some measurments of Eastern R and MH Macks but need a bit of time to do that. Do you have your interest for model building? Here are some pics for you to start understanding what's what. Where are you in Norway? Extremely nice country, love fiords and waterfalls. Feel free to PM me, I might be busy and forget to check this thread out. Vlad
  21. Uncommon thing and done with love. Looks nice.
  22. Happy Birthday Carl! Enjoy as many as you can.
  23. Just no words to describe! Great place! Seems that man bought many nice Macks from the States but I hope you guys don't seem extremely bad this kind of exporting.
  24. Hello folks, I've been off the phone yesterday, sorry. That's an interesting artice indeed. My favorite is red/white KW. It was true imported in 1973 and still works. I once have seen it in person. The guy lives in the different area than me. Light green R, exactly the one in the picture, is unfortunately no longer with us. It was cut and scrapped by some pretty stupid way. The guy had crank broken down and didn't do repairs. His parents he kept the truck by their house needed some cash to cover the road taxes for the truck. Being on a road in 2000km from home the owner was called by them and answered "Just scrap it and cover the tax". The only rest was the sleeper I bought from him after got in contact. So I don't own that truck but it was a sister one to the pair I have. The same bunch of 5 ex-SGT R's wich were imported in 1996. They have their VIN's different by only 1-2 digits. Recently another local guys showed up with impressive looking yellow Pete. We became friendly now. Vlad
