  1. Greetings to Israel, From the pic I don't see anything that looks off Lanova. The front axle beam, hubs, fuel tank and so on is from later models. If we talk about NR 4D every Lanova Mack chassis number started from it. Regardless it was NR-7, NR-13 or NR-14. Interesting you've got NR 4D chassis number from the licence plate record.
  2. Nothing looks as nice as a fresh paintwork! Espesially if it's red. You're not that bad with the paintshop. I wait for just the sunvisor to be painted for 3 month now. And my sleeper is in the wait lane since about March. Visiting shop folks often makes things faster sometimes. Although they start to get costs for future projects from the sky in some cases either. Hope to see more Red Bright progress from you soon.
  3. Beautiful scenary but the first thought I got on my mind was "A highway to hell".
  4. I think it would look better with rear crossmember on its frame and a tandem bogie. But that's just me. Nothing of under the hood pics there either.
  5. That's not a color I'd like to paint a truck but the sky looks fantastic Wonder how correct the camera reproduced it and how beautiful it was in real.
  6. My memory check tells me that there a the double crue near the nicely polished trailer with red landing gear legs. There was also the kid walking the walk along the bumper with lots of lights.
  7. Congrats on the deal done, those "under the surface" surprizes are better kept off. As for the drive shaft I would prefere to keep as long of it's length as possible. I mean as longer the spline mesh area is as less chances to get it loose together with bouncing.
  8. Neat old picture. The front axle looks heavy. B61SX?
  9. Thank you for sharing. Just can't figure out exactly where that connection located. Right behind the battery box? Did you do those photos from under the hood?
  10. That's pretty interesting. In the under the cab area RW/MH steel frame has higher section than at rear. Does this mean that aluminum rail has the contact area at the side and the top only? Another question: do I remeber correctly that all RW1 both aluminium and steel frames had the split area with bolts under a cab?
  11. Congratulations on the deal done! And it's done wery nice. I remember you posted that sad story and had suggestions on how to do. Very nice you got the plan and had power enough to make it real. Glad to see the result
  12. Tom, thank you for sharing those "between the week's pictures". Looks like you had a nice time there.
  13. Paul, that sounds like a pretty interesting can of warms indeed
  14. No, it doesn't seem as a big deal. You can see clear that the dog in the car and the big dog in the car are almost different dogs. At least i hope an avarage dog can't keep his ears low enough to appear having just no ears. OD, thank you for the fall pictures and the cabover Mack. And the moon shot is turned out very well. Looks like you was not too far from the moon making it.
  15. Wankel?....
  16. If you're going to cut off any bent area to replace with a donor piece you should first correct the damage to the general original shape.
  17. Mike, what is the kind of the "bolting on" of aluminium rails to MH steel front section? I might get over MH chassis locally and being scratching my head on how to make it long enough to convert into the "dream truck" chassis.
  18. Glad to hear, that's very nice truck on my mind
  19. Nowadays you don't need to scan a dog. There's a planty of images and vector samples on the net.
  20. Those bright metal pieces can make a day. Congrats on the purchase! Do you still have your green B75 single axle? I remember you talking about the sale several times, thought you have that done.
  21. It seems the truck is in a good shape indeed. Good interior either. The color makes it unusual, you might get it brighter applying some polish on. Any history on the H-model in the first picture? Good luck on the project! Vlad
  22. Nice looking new rigs and attractive presentation. Although my favorit MAZ is this one.
  23. Thank you. I will try to get some of that scrap for not expensive. How is your friend getting on his WW2 Mack resoration?
  24. Josh - why do you need a Studebaker cab insted of the original one?
