  1. I believe you nailed it Red Horse. Especially the White 9000's and later Louiville's and don't forget the 2000D's and Fleetstar A's
  2. 57-Are the Meyer mixers disappearing. Are you downsizing. If you ever run accross Dennis Spoeling give him a high.
  3. Seems like it might be a dealership locality issue on the sale of Granite tractors. It would seem that equally speced pinnacle axle back, axle forward and granites would be in the same price range.
  4. I've read that the U model was offset so that there was a better view for the left side (which was true) but that would be offset with a worse view to the right. I also read that the U model was offset so that the driver would have more leg room. This seems to be the more logical reason since there would have been no leg room if the cab was centered.
  5. Nice catch on the CTC RB. Nice to see R's still working especially Celli
  6. How many of those Windham Macks are in mothballed. I used to see them all the time about 15 years ago. Now I see a couple of red T-800's from time to time.
  7. Drove right by Bolton yesterday on 495 and forgot all about it until I saw a couple of bob tail KW's, an orange Superliner with a B model on the back and a green B model flatbed on 395 ct heading North.
  8. Mewin I am guessing they changed rd hood in 92. In my opinion you have the better looking hood. They should have offered both after 92.
  9. That RD would look pretty sharp if you took off the manure and gave it a little paint. That B-81 looks to be in good shape.
  10. The Granite is currently the most popular platform truck(rolloffs, dumps etc. But it seems that there are very few granite tractors. I'm wondering why this is.
  11. I know Gateway New Haven has one R model tractor left. Did they have alot of them in the past? Are there any old gateway photos? When did they go peterbilt.
  12. Some Gen sets have heated water or oil. The big EMD.'s have a circulating oil pump that runs all the time. .
  13. I remember Balf trucking out of CT had a bunch of those for a while before they went KW. Tilcon bought them out. That may have been what gave tilcon the KW bug. I think there still might be one of those balf ducks kickin around wiht a road lane change sign on the back. Saw a Tilcon CH today with a low boy on RT 2 Ct.
  14. Vlad: Do you have all of this regulatory BS in Russia. I would guess not. In Russia they control you with the Gun. Here in the land of laws not men they control you with all their regulatory BS.
  15. Always liked the Canadian R's with long frames and large fuel tanks/sometimes double tanks
  16. Nice paint scheme on the Granite. Looking at the Ozinga web site reveals a lot of Paccars. And one nice old FWD
  17. If you got rid of all that orange stuff(UUUUgly) above and dropped a Aussie Superliner/Trident on the Scannia V8 drive train. Then you would have something.
  18. I read that CR England has added 10 Mack LNG pinnacles to their fleet in California. I don't think CR has had Macks since the Cruiseliner and F model days.
  19. 2 stack: Is that gateway mack RD the only working mack they have left. Iv'e seen it on I95 a couple of times. Gateway would be a nice fit for some Granite tractors but then again there are not too many Granites sold as tractors. I wonder why.
  20. Very classy. Shes probably confused hauling tankers in her former life.
  21. Definitely a rare find.Looks like its in good shape, Not quite as good looking as the 73's and 75's IMHO BCR I remember as a yung un back in ILL seeing a B-73/75 for Old Style Lager. I didn.'t even know there was such an animal at the time. Never saw an L cab B until this site or Hanks. Can I say Hanks? LOL
