  1. Posted Yesterday, 06:51 AM POPULAR Unloading at Tilcon Groton Plant Picked up at Catskill NY. Attached Thumbnails That green RD sure looks like the AP Marquardt RD from Groton( #2) Unfortunately I think it has been replaced by a Paccar.
  2. Typical big government/socialist/communist tactic. Create/point out a problem and then come in with a solution. Problem-polluting households/small business/schools. Solution more taxes and regulations. We can barely pay for fuel heating our houses now. Just wait untill they make after market pollution controls on home heating boilers and wood stoves. When are we going to stick together and say enough is enough? Arent there more of us than them? Now maybee so but we are reaching the tipping point where more people get their pay checks from the government beuracracy and vote in favor of their policies (rules and regulations). Its all about control of the sheeple. So sad.
  3. I think Cat sucked up to O &G industries and gave them a couple of test trucks.
  4. If you are talking about S&J from Jersey (silver and orange) They havn't gone all Pete as far as I can see. They have a bunch of new pinnacle axle backs. They show them on their web site. I see them on I95 Ct from time to time.
  5. I remember ex Suzio DM 800 dumps #'s 44 & 45. I think they went Paccar because of their lighter weight at the time.
  6. Lets remember by taking care of the Vets and their families.
  7. No. I just travel up and down 95 every day and I see them a lot. I think they have about 10 kenworths, 1 peterbilt, 4 RD's?,4 CL's?, 3 white Granites? 1 RD tractor. They don't have a website.
  8. Sort of looks like that Australian Mack cabover (Renault maybe). I am not sure if they still make it
  9. I see American has some white granites now. They look like they were used. They have quite a few Macks but usually see the KW's on the road.
  10. Daimler got there engines from Detroit. How about there transmisions and rear ends.
  11. How do the non Macks make 12 years.
  12. Maybee he can get them to park the Volvos out back instead of the Macks.
  13. I am surprised that the Pete is as high as the cornbinder. Never would have thought so. Very nice assortment. Are the Cherry Picker and Cannonball hiding out back.
  14. Looks like a nice barkway there also. You have photos of all of the participants. Thanks
  15. Nice catch on the red wing and the painted lady
  16. On second thought this may be a front for the Ford motor company. If Alkane is successful Ford sucks them up and Ford is back in the class 7& 8 market. If they are not sucessful then it doesn't hurt Ford's reputation. Could be a trial ballon.
  17. I mix 50/50 Shell Rotella dino and Shell T-6 synthetic. I read from a Shell petroleum engineer that these are totally compatable. Engine really cranks over fast in the winter.
  18. More power to Alkane! Another American Truck Company. Hopefully they compete positively against the Japaneese and Europeons that have the mid range cab over market locked up. They are using ford engines, transmissions and probably cabs.
  19. I'd just pull covers and find the missing keeper can't believe it didn't drop a valve! Maybee it didn't drop a valve because its a keeper from times past. You've got to pull the covers and inspect though. Good luck
  20. Gee the F model would have never gotten off the ground with that grill.
  21. What happened to bond sand and gravel from unasville ct. Don't see them around anymore. They had green RD's and newer KW's. Havn't seen much of American Industries lately either.
  22. I am thinking that cruiseliner might be in the wrong line of work
