  1. That paint job on the Brown MH makes it look more like a Mack. If that makes any sense from an old man
  2. Burns from West Virginia. Green Visions and Pinnacles. Had a few cornbinders
  3. Might be an interesting thread. Smiths Transfer Roanoke VA? They did have some ford city budd cabs
  4. As part of the push for the New World Order The Tri Lateral Commission was formed during the Carter administration. Its purpose was to equalize the global playing field, making Europe and the Asia stronger and America weaker. They have done this across the global manufacturing base. The sad truth is that Conspiracies are real and the truth is held from the sheeple
  5. sunken grill 1966-1972? 2 vertical supports ?-? (Cheezee) 3 vertical supports 1977?-1989 western grill 1974?-
  6. How many different Mack CA cabs were there. I think there were 47's or 67's on the R's.I noticed on a thread here that the west coast RL's had a CA 123. Where does the plus 3 cab fit in. Those west Coast rigs were really sharp the way the cab and hood sat higher. Those west coast R 700's and valueliners were good trucks.
  7. I remember that ad as well. I wonder what they are driving now?
  8. Looks like a lengthened ch hood. I am confused. I can't see how this works.
  9. Randy. The Lord works all things for His purposes. Your son gave his full measure and your grandboy can surely be proud of him. Get that boy a monster mall. There almost as good as a log splitter and a lot cheaper. Will make the grandson strong like bull.
  10. Great information KS. I guess the modified Mack v8 lives on at Scania.
  11. Tractors with dump trailers were popping out of the woodwork on 95 in Ct. Mostly Paccars. So much for the CH's and granites replacing the R's in Ct.
  12. Same old story with American and Canadian unions. Company says we are going to shut the doors and move to greener pastures and the union doesn't budge. You can thank the unions for the great rust belts of the Midwest.
  13. :SMOKIE-RT:I believe those were rosa master pumps developed by a Stanadyne engineer. The one rotating element had to supply all 6 or 8 cylinders. To much work for one part. Unlike the in line and v bosh pumps where each plunger could take a rest while the other 5 or seven supplied fuel. These pumps were on the early ford 6.9's and 7.3's. Would usually last about 100,000 miles. Rebuilds were about 300-400 dollars. Now one new ford injector is about 350.00 dollars. I think we are going backwards as far as maintenance costs and replacement parts.
  14. Butler was bought out but the new owner kept the name.
  15. Baby Jesus says lets play nice in the sand box fellow Watter's. Looks like New York 2 is catching up fast.
  16. How about some pictures and information on White motor corporation Trucks. In the day they were a big competitor of Mack, There were just as many White 9000's around as B-61's. They made a lot of there own components. They were plentiful in the Midwest east and south. They may have outsold Mack for a few years. For such a large corporation there isn't much info on the net. They were large enough to buyout Sterling, Diamond-t Autocar, Reo and Euclid. I know Volvo wiped out there trucks. Did they wipe out their history also.
  17. Who has access to delete. Should just be the administrators.
  18. 57 BCR. I remember those green and yellow FWD McHenry mixers. I imagine they are out of business by now.
  19. The Military has been buying foreign trucks for a while. The US army had 100's of freightliners.
  20. How are the Value-Liner fenders attached to the frame? It looks like the fenders and hood are one piece.
  21. May be they are trying to let the other cities/states catch up.
  22. What's with all this salt? Did the price of sand(dirt) get to high. Car washes are going to make a killing.
  23. 505 maxidyne should be a beast.
