  1. Probably go through 10 pickup plows and that black and silver r will still be working.
  2. Vision: You have 10 times the talent of that clown to bad you don't have his scratch $$
  3. Nice article on the Brown/Corbits. I had no idea why AT had them. All I ever saw for AT were White 9000's with the Acar cabs. I can still see one in my mind winding up a steep curved grade in PA doing a wopping 20 mph. No flashers then.
  4. Well let me see. If you are not in the market segment at all does that mean your not making any money in that segmant
  5. Would that be a picture of a blue national freight F model? NFI no longer Mack unfortunately
  6. Below is a link to a history of Macks financial history. This is different from the Mack website version. Interesting reading. http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/mack-trucks-inc-history/
  7. We know Volvo has Mack on a short leash in the USA and elseware except maybee Australia. I am wondering what the relationship is between Renault and Volvo. Seems like Renault would have more independence than Mack.
  8. Definitely unique and definitely pricey
  9. .006 seems a little sloppy. The other mains might even be worse. I believe some of the newer cars are in the .oo1 range.
  10. As I remember Wilson bought a couple hundred of those u's and then went toes up shortly after.
  11. KS what books show the Mack factory info. Thanks
  12. How many Montville books are there?
  13. What is the story on the red DM. Is that a JV 111.
  14. If Mack USA had the independence that Mack Australia has it would be a good thing. Volvo has the dog on a choker collar over here.
  15. Sounds like a lot of things were put into production before R&D and test trials were done. Probably in trying to keep up with the competition a lot of regrettable decisions were made
  16. Yup single axle B or R with smaller wheels is the way to go. Nice job on the B though. How about a ch with smaller wheels-Yuk!
  17. May bee the 707 was the first edition of the 711. They must have done something to get the extra 4 cubic inches. Possibly head volume or maybe the Mack mathamititions were having a bad day.
  18. Good job BCR! Thats the trailer article I remember seeing around 1970.
  19. I believe St Johnsbury had a bunch of U models with Cummins 903's. Watkins had V-8"s in U models . Not sure if they were Cummins or Mack. Roadway of course had the V detroits.
  20. I always thought the 707 was a gas engine.
  21. The Mack ultra Liner got retired way before its time. That truck could still be reintroduced today and it would be up to date
  22. I remember adds for the stars and stripes Macks in 71 or 72
  23. Doesn't get much better than a valueliner.
