  1. I can smell Scania V-8's in the Titan.
  2. Can you still order a new CH axle forward with the large Mack logo as on the red CH.
  3. Value liners are my favorites. I think this thread has passed up the New York number one thread. Great tribute to llinois Macks.
  4. Free trade agreement's(NAFTA-GATT etc.) that were passed and never read what a beautiful thing.
  5. I think Matter was on you tube when you first got her. She was smoking a bit. Any plans for that?
  6. There was a Celli B model wrecker for sale about a year ago. Not sure where I saw it. It had a B model tilt hood.
  7. I signed up on the Mack web site. Never got a copy.
  8. Sorry to see a Chicago trucing pioneer pass on. I'll bet he is driving a B model up in heaven. Best wishes and prayers to the celli family.
  9. How many CNG kenworths vs Macks in the fleet ?
  10. The door is in resonnance with some rotating element on the truck(engine/transmission/driveshaft etc.) If you can change the mass of the door (adding or subracting weight) this may solve your problem. As to how to do that you'll have to get ceative.
  11. The huge sand and gravel pit in Dover New Hampshire was sold a few years ago to a New York firm I believe. Green Mack RD's and Granites and Peterbilt tractors. The Dover Sand and gravel Company used to have yellow RD Macks as I remember. They had a beautiful yellow B model Mack water truck. Does any one know what happened to the B model. It was in great shape about 4 years ago.
  12. I hate it when my front axle falls off.
  13. :Saw my second Mack Titan in about five years on 95 It was a red tri axle pulling a tri axle lowboy. Didn't catch the name for sure. May bee Grasso?
  14. I wonder if the L models were built by Orville. If you look at the L model and H model they look identical around the window area. Were the B models built by Chicago cab or Orville.
  15. The original front end was the best in IMHOP.
  16. We then went over to Pat C's American Paving shop where he and his boys were working on a couple of AB projects before they get back out on the road putting new asphalt down. Patdbossct The asphalt business should be good this year considering all of the frost heave damage. On another note I have been seeing a little more CWPM activity on 95. New KW's t800's (not bad looking). They still can't kill off there 2 old CH's I saw going down 95.(ex two tone green ones from another company I think) Also saw a CWPM black RD i have never seen before. They must be bringing out some old dogs.
  17. Looked on the Marinnelo web site and they have that Mayberry U Model wide cab. That definitely looks like an F model cab (Bud-N model etc,) These cabs were made in house so I guess they could experiment. KS do you know if any more of these were built. Looks like a Mack attempt to trial balloon a wide cab conventional. Very curious.
  18. Mack tech- Pictures Pictures !
  19. What is new Matter's mission going to be? I wonder how many B's are still working?
  20. Saw a sharp red CL dump on 95 yesterday. The funny thing about it was that it said Dattco on the door with Dattco mud flaps. Is this the same as Dattco as the bus company. The logo looked the same. Also saw a new axle back Granite dump for Hanes. Good to see they are buying Macks again. They used to have CL's and RD's before buying T800's.
  21. Was the 300 maxadyne as tough as the 237. what were the sales of each.
  22. I hope that B model was a 20 speed
  23. Did'nt realize there were that many nice Celli macks left. I see an R in the background with a Gold bulldog and some CH's. Every body on this web site chip in 50 dollars and we can save them all.
  24. Remember Navistar shareholders and directors- getting every last nickel and dime for the company is more important than doing the right thing. I guess the battle of the Bulge was really fought in vain.
