    Headlight lenses/signal lenses are different(separate instead of one piece). Side vents look like they are changed(kind of on a 45 deg angle). May bee Volvo isn't giving Mack a new cab because Volvo isn't getting one either. They may feel the Volvo cab is still competitive. If they were going to kill off Mack I don't think they would put money into hood changes. If they were to sell Mack they might want to doctor up the aerodynamics to sweeten the sale price.

    Some of the Australian Superliners or Tridents would be nice. Is this new pinnacle version going to be for axle backs and forwards?

    The 446 was a gas v8 made into the 80's. The 549 v-8 went out in the 70's. Not to be confused with the DT 466 inline six. IH made tons of different gas engines that were used in farming and trucking.

    Looks like Sharkey Transportation colors. They own a Mack dealership I believe. I like it better than the new Freightliner or Navistar.

    Good report. So is this in actuality a 1/2 a common rail engine. Also I thought engine manufacturers were going to higher injection pressures for more efficient fuel burn. What are the injection pressures on Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, Scania and IH/Mann.

    We have a company here in Connecticut called Manafort Bros. that uses the brown and tan colors as the RD above. They had DM's. They still have some RD's and Granites and a CL and KW lowboy tractor.

    What the F___ suspension problems! They had suspensions down pat 40-50 years ago (Camel backs 70 years ago) Must be cheap materials, under design as opposed over design and letting the horses out of the barn before testing.

    That Trident axle forward is the best looking truck on the planet with old school spec sheets to boot. With offerings from Cummins, Volvo, Meritor, Dana, Eaton and Mack. It seems like Aussie models would work in Canada and some western states. Maybe all states with future regulation changes.

    While looking through the latest issue of wheels of time there was an article about a gentlemen and his small fleet of assorted dump trucks. One was a side view of a 66-68 3 axle dump. It had the Dodge hood of that era and the article said it was a Dodge. If you look at the cab it looks identical to the CA67 R model. Did Sheller Globe use the R model cab in the Dodges of that era. Since there weren't that many dodges of that size around this may have went under the radar. After exploring the internet this may have been a Mack with a Dodge hood.

    As a rough guess what is the percentage of Mack's in the construction business in Illinois (Midwest) today, compared to Paccar, etc. I think they used to be 50% +.

    Take over Saudi Arabia. Refugee and oil problem solved. Why is it that Europe and North America have to solve the refugee problem? What about the rest of Africa and South America. Doesn't Europe and the US realize that the Muslims are trying to conquer them from within.
