  1. Too bad the C model didn't have a little longer run with that cab and horizontal shutters. Mack's answer to the White 9000 with the A car cab.
  2. Need to save as many Magnums and Liberty editions as possible. Keep us posted.
  3. Not a bad looking vehicle. Beats the europeon designs by a long shot.
  4. Well at least they didn't put the small Mack logo on the grill with Volvo diagonal slash. Lets see. Seems like the only thing left of Mack is the grill.
  5. From the Mack website press release of 1-5-17. The MP10 engine is still listed along with the MP7 and 8 as meeting the 2017 green house gas emissions. What ever that means. Could be they are keeping the MP10 and dumping the Titan. In any case the Titan and MP 10 are not yet officially dumped. I would think they would have their replacement options ready before making any official announcements.
  6. You mean that ain't real
  7. If your turbo boost increases with throttle position(engine load) your turbo is probably working ok.
  8. We have been waiting for you to come back and comment on the US Titan issue. Happy New Year.
  9. Hendrickson should revive their truck for the heavy haul market now that Mack Titan appears to be done.
  10. Bring back the Hendrickson truck. That would be nice. Hendrickson is still in business. They certainly have the suspensions for the heavy haul market. Throw in a beefy frame vendor engines and drive train and you are good to go. No distribution network though. Make an offer for Mack. Hendrickson and Mack used to be strong competitors in the Midwest.
  11. It's hard to say since they don't offer spec sheets on the Mack website anymore. Just fluff sheets. Maybe milkman or log truck man would know. I guess the true test of the frames would be coal country where the Titan never caught on like the RD and DM 800's. Funny thing is I believe the Aussie Mack web site still gives out spec sheets. Seems like Australia Mack is ahead of the curve compared to the US.
  12. If Mack was going to offer a replacement option to the Titan, you would think they would roll it out before dropping the Titan and creating all of this ill will. Sounds like they may be thinking of a piece meal replacement. I am not sure if you could get a Titan frame on a Granite but that would be a start along with a hood that could accommodate a 15 liter Cummins. I don't hold out hope for a well thought out replacement as it took them almost ten years to roll out an LE update.
  13. KS always says there is no more Mack. Maybe it's beginning to sink in more and more everyday.
  14. Logtruckman. Mack has zero say on what goes on. Volvo killed Titan. Seems like the new Scania boss is putting Mack on the back burner.
  15. No more heavy haul or oil field for Mack!
  16. Probably a great truck but its as ugly as sin.
  17. Love that style front end with the horizontal shutters. I agree with you Vlad. The hood seems to be better proportioned to the cab.
  18. I thought Oak Harbor bought some pinnacles
  19. Prayers. It will get better.
  20. Gone are the days of the drop in Maxidyne for 6,000.
  21. That B looks like it may have a fiber glass tilt hood. There doesn't appear to be a fender seem. Also note the hood lock. Merry Christmas to all.
  22. That would be awesome. May bee he will post some pictures Merry Christmas to allia all.
  23. Read on face book that a guy had white R model 1988 with an experimental F700 drive train. I asked about it and he said it was an F-700 with an E-9 engine. Was this ever offered? I know the 865 and 866's were options. Could his be true? F Model with an E-9 would be awesome.t
  24. I am guessing Mack engine/transmission/rear end/springs/front axle/frame. Can't do that anymore.
  25. Will keep an eye out for the Palumbo Macks.
