  1. the problem is the wrong side is throwing the bricks! them hellyons need hit in the head with a brick or two and maybe they will figure out a education, and work ethic as well as morals, will keep the police off their asses and they wont have these issues! but i'm not saying our police need to be outfitted like an army either

  7. comming along well! i would like to find a decent pentle pull tri axle for the super mut so i can move my dozer but the damn things seem to sell for almost new no matter how sad they are. after seeing what you are doing it gives me a idea to get an older 5th wheel trailer and just cut one down to do what i need one to do.

  13. was a 18918b an option for a cl700? if so a vin # for a cl700 with a e-9 and a 18918b should be the ticket sorry the one i got my e-9 from had the mack 18sp.
  14. Farm Dog what part of the USA are these trucks in? as this will also affect price due to weather and road treatments
  15. Ya i fingered it was something like that but couln't pass up the chance to give you a bad time!
  16. also check to see if the fuel shut off cable/lever is free and in the "fuel" position, as mentioned above the pump my be sticky, you can carefully remove the rectangular cover off of the side of the pump and spray with some penatrating oil. the barrels should rotate as the throttle arm is moved and the plungers should travel up and down as the eng is cranked. (i cant remember if you can see the plungers move or not thru the side cover) but adding some penatrant will not hurt!
  17. Mike: the livestock story has sure changed over the last 30 years, we had two markets in the same county when i was in school, now we have two in eastern washington and one on the west side. What used to be a 30 mile round trip drive to market is now 350.up untill several years ago you couldnt afford to take a old cow to slaughter it was cheaper to just shoot her and use for coyote bait.
  18. dang! what are the odds that both a ferrari and a lamborghini would get stuck in first gear, and right in front of a FWD. who would of thunk it! Extra small sure looks like a happy camper! Being a city employee allows you to steal from the puplic works division?
  19. I dont have a problem with the 200 lbs. to seat the brgs, but 50 seems tight to me for a finish adjustment. i would loosen the nut after the 200 untill all preload is off the nut, then bring it up untill the nut contacts the bearing shulder then chek lock ring if nessary go tighter untill lock ring index's. remember a over tightened bearing will fail way before a loose one will. As for the grease i would fill the hub to 80% of full this will keep water (condensation) from harming the brgs. or spindle and still leave room for expansen when heated during use.
  20. Yes it has divided front glass, and yes it does look like the "VIT" that ken worth used on their trucks.
  21. Petermack, yes it is a custom conversion I talked with the owner yesterday and he mentioned it was after market. The truck could be for sale bc3 400 cummins 13 sp. and about 200,000 on a major.
  22. Vlad, the land owner makes siloutte's of anamals out of plywood, i think there is moose, elk, caraboo, bear, deer, coyote, and a wolf. The silouttes's are quite good and at dusk makes you take a second look to make sure there fake!
  23. Brocky, the 850 i think has a 477 gas ,as for the mountains they dont help, the cold air off of them drains down to the vallys below, they might influance the wind but i think thats it. Bob and Green dash, yah he has some "good" junk laying around! Here is a pic from my side of the valley looking north, the trees with whe really white blossomsare pear trees. The hay fields ,pastures and cows in the bottom half of the pic are mine. the orchard above is my neighbors.
  24. Thanks for the comments, this is a great time of year for pics before it all turns brown. Yes those fawns are more or less pets, the home owners around palmer lake like to spoil them. Jim the 220 is doing a real job on my rock piles, just plum handy it is! I jumped the fence and got some pics of the neighbors iron, an eagle, a transtar, and a 850.
