  1. There's also the NRA Museum just off of Rt 66 about 15 miles out from DC.
  2. I saw that in this morning's paper and had the same thought.
  3. Such a sad story that happens all too often.
  4. That brick kiln looks mighty hot.
  5. Looks great Ed. Don't feel bad about the steering column. I got to do it twice also.
  6. I would follow her to Windfall Beach anytime just to get a sniff. BTW, that is me on the computer screen. Sorry I missed you at Winchester, I guess I was out looking at all the nice trucks. I was going to tell you in person how much I appreciate the POW.
  7. Welcome aboard. That truck is certainly a worthy save. Bobby J, I was able to find a pair of tie rod ends and am now back on the road.
  8. Welcome aboard. I vote for a picture of the Willys also. I had one several years ago, really cool. Happy hunting for the right truck.
  9. Great procession. Happy Anniversary.
  10. They don't get much tighter than that.
  11. Thanks for the pix. I hated to miss the show.
  12. That's a sight to see. Thanks for the pictures.
  13. Looks good Ed. All it takes is a little cooler weather.
  14. I plan on going to Winchester at least one day, either Friday or Sat. I went to Somerset, VA today. It was mostly a steam and tractor show, lots of interesting things to see, but oh so hot.
  15. I'm pretty sure it was medium prairie tan. Classic Coat™ - 17063 It came out a little lighter than the color chip but not bad. Then SEM satin clear.
  16. Try the Mack Museum. I got what they call a Highway Vehicle Service Manual, initial issue Oct, 1967, that has pretty good coverage for the B Models. They provide the information for free but request a donation to the museum. I got an estimate to redo the steering wheel for in the $800 range depending on a visual inspection. I ended up using PC-7 epoxy and glazing compound after watching a utube video. The cost was about $40 and about 3 hours work. It turned out as they say "good enough for govt work". I used SEM spray paint for flexible parts along with a satin clear.
