  1. I've always heard the frameless dumps are easy to lay over.
  2. Very nice looking fleet, your yard looks good too.
  3. That shop floor is too clean. You need to throw some dirt, rust, grease, broken parts, and dirty rags down on it.
  4. You don't have to keep the lock ring and rim together, but you do need to have the correct ring for the rim you have. The lip has to fit just right or you could have a kablooey.
  5. Try classicflatglass.com; they have a listing for F model windshields. http://www.classicflatglass.com/Mack_Truck_Glass.aspx
  6. If Roy Moore is really guilty of what he's accused of, then the voters did the right thing. If his accusers are lying, then they need to go to jail. DirtyMilkMan, I'm curious where you see the term "separation of church and state". Article 1 of the constitution says that the government shall not establish any religion. The Declaration of Independence specifically mentions God and the Creator. The United States was founded by Christians with the understanding that only a country that recognizes God as sovereign would prosper. As we remove the Ten Commandments and God from our country, we will pay the price.
  7. Those fire engine cabs always look so clean!
  8. Those are butter knives, they're just getting ready to butter the biscuits that they will lay next to.
  9. Just noticed this on my single axle today...you know a driver was a steering wheel holder when they had to mark "F" for "Forward" on the wheel.
  10. JH, your pictures surely aren't poorly photo-chopped. Very nice!
  11. If you google Clariben hoods, they sold ones for many trucks in the US.
  12. That truck is huge!
  13. To this day, when I trip on something I always point at it and say, "Have that removed!".
  14. This is not the forum for medical problems.
  15. When I was turning wrenches, we didn't use the specs. We would tighten down the first nut while slowly spinning the hub (to seat the bearings and races) and then back it off a little. Then turn it just until all the slack is gone. Then crank the locknut down with a 24" breaker bar, if you lean into it pretty good that's tight enough. In 18 years of putting wheels on, I never had one come back (and don't say that's because they went off the side of a hill).
  16. Merry Mack Christmas!
  17. JeffL's truck has a lot of rust, and the MB's are not popular restoration candidates anyway. Obviously if noone's bought carlot's truck then there's no point in trying to find a buyer for JeffL's.
  18. Sounds like you may be sucking air...are all the filters tight? Did you have any fuel lines loose when draining it? A loose or cracked fuel line will suck air.
  19. I agree with you, VaP. I don't have a urinal but I live out in the sticks so I just go behind the barn. It would be a pain in the keister to remove said boots every time I go.
  20. I remember back in the day that John Deere worked with DD on the development of the 60 series. I don't remember when Penske got involved.
  21. That big 6 x 6 is a beest!
  22. That RHD conversion on top of the dash sure is an ugly thing! Hayseed, thank you for posting an interesting article.
  23. If you're going to do all that, you should convert to an alternator.
  24. So what did Tomlin and Rooney do to be a disgrace? Right now I'm watching the Packers give Tomlin fits.
