  1. The B under the milk truck is one beautiful machine.
  2. That is a nice one...I like the wheelbase, not too long and not too short.
  3. The clutch brake adjustment is important, but free travel on the pedal is more important. I don't know what the spec is on this truck, but you will have to adjust the linkage somewhere if you free travel isn't good.
  4. Interesting! Why is it critical for electric vehicles?
  5. I like the KW...do they call that a K100 like they do in the US? The polished square tanks look great; you don't see many of them over here.
  6. I worked on a few trucks that you had to get inside the cab to do motor work--I sure am glad I don't have to do that any more! The tilt cab was great for maintenance that didn't involve radiators or aftercoolers.
  7. Nice! Any idea what the horsepower difference is between stock motor and the V8s? I assume Ford didn't make these tractors stock with the V8.
  8. Beautiful tractor. Pics of the restoration were posted on here awhile back. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mack-Truck-1959-Mack-B-61-Tractor-B-Model-/302294687770?hash=item46622ae01a:g:vfsAAOSwSypY~qtC&vxp=mtr
  9. Clariben made fiberglass replacement hoods for several different trucks. Previous thread on these: https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/8-clariben-hood-brochure-aftermarket/
  10. I actually don't remember the color...the truck had been restored (looked fantastic) and had a custom body on the back.
  11. I don't run 77 a lot...the truck looks like it's been there a while (no engine in it). According to the Google it's for Alliance Tractor Trailer Training...still in business.
  12. Looks like some nice fab work on those mounts...can't wait to see it done (post a video!).
  13. This truck is pretty interesting...it would be a great resto project for someone with a lot of patience. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Liteway-Truck-Prototype-Carrier-Vehicle-built-in-1953-by-the-McBright-Corp-/122448831555?hash=item1c8284e443:g:AvAAAOSwJ4hY8rlZ&vxp=mtr
  14. I was coming through Wytheville yesterday and saw a decent-looking F model being used as a billboard along 77, possibly for a driving school. Anybody have a name or photo of the truck? I don't see many Fs in Ohio any more. Also saw a B on a trailer rolling down the interstate, in mint condition with a custom body on the back...possibly some type of food service body.
  15. I'm assuming you changed the fuel filter, right? That's a common problem.
  16. This truck isn't near me, just posting an ad I found. https://limaohio.craigslist.org/hvo/6077260585.html
  17. Those new frame rails look plenty beefy. Do you use this truck to make a living?
  18. I certainly hope that thing has more than a 238 in it.
  19. Amen to your words! I hear we need free healthcare, free college tuition, free childcare, blah blah blah. Guess what, someone has to be earning the money to pay the taxes for all that free stuff!
