  1. You need to go to some one with a reader so they can monitor the ecm.
  2. I have some good friends from south of the border that I work with and most all say your president is screwed up. When some one like that throws down guns in front of us and then tells the world that it is the American people that is selling them and don't think they will be found out they are stupid.
  3. I have seen a few ujoints freeze up and make you think for awhile.Also the king pins can freeze up or break and cause some problems.

Like been stated us a chain with a braket welded to each end with a hole thru it and put it under two head bolts at the center of the engine. when in the center you use one chain and it will balance easy and you can tilt it with a comealong if need be very easy.I have used that for 40 years and never did have the nerve to try the little valve cover bolts.I have seen many engine pulled at salvage yards with the intake and exhaust manifold cracking or breaking it off.Same salvage yards that destroy drive lines when they pull apart.same salvage yards that destroy a clutch when they pull a trans out.Same salvage yards that remove a engine and set out side with intake open.

  9. That been done for years.Use one gauge and two sendors with one switch which will be a three way.You select what tank you want to read.That is one at a time.

  12. Electric fan will not take place of the engine driven fan.For light duty maybe so.

The buffer screw story gets started by drivers that having fun out of other drivers.years back that was a common request to set my buffer screw and when your in there clean the smoke off of my injectors.Another thing I have been asked to do many times is to change the button in a two cycle DD.Or set the rack on my mack.
  15. We milled a lot thru the winter here.Now its down below the base and new rock in the hole and then asphalt.All hourly work.Most of it Is city but some turnpike work.

  17. .The ecm will need to be monitored with a reader. This will tell you what switches is not doing what.The VSS can be defective also.There will be two switches on the dash and a parking brake switch plus a stop light switch and a clutch switch that goes in play with it.A wiring problem as well as a module being bad can happen but only a reader will show this.

You don't need a gauge how ever it is very impressive standing up in the corner of the shop. jack front wheel up so they will spin.While the wheels are being turned paint a white line about 2" wide all the way around in the center of the tire.Then turn the wheels and scribe and line all the way around in the painted line.Do this with a large screw driver on a block of wood so it will be straight.Then let the wheels down on the ground.Measure from center of one scribe line to the other.i find its best to start with the 1 " mark with a measureing tape. Measure front to back and most tires do well with 1/16 to 1/32" of toe in.Did I say let the tires donw on the floor?
  19. One thing about the 12 speed is you don't have that problem with the range snychros that the 9 speed has.
  20. I remember a fleet of mixers with the engine in B models. They were not turboed.These trucks had the small quad trans and wedge brakes.
  21. The thing about getting it stuck is no one can get it out.
