  1. Please keep us posted on how it holds up.If you can do it I may try it to.
  2. I respect anyone who want to better him self and family. So many give up a grab a card board box and cut out a sign to set on the corner.Good luck.
  3. Also the injector lines are different also. And they need to be changed before you reinstall the injection pump. This makes them easy to change.
  4. Ok here is the only rebuilt E7 400 pump that mack rebuilt application guide shows. 313gc5185p6x.This is a P7100 robert bosch
  5. You need to know what pistons is in the engine now and what turbo. And what HP it was when came from factory. Then I can give you a pump # for that set up to build a mechanical engine.
  6. Cap it and it want leak.
  7. I don't think you guys understand whats going on,First he is just making fun of the working man and second he is a evil sprited driven antichrist person and may I should have said also he is very ungodly.
  8. Get some brake clean and wash. Then drive it a few miles and get out and look.
  9. That is the way I have mine set and no smoke.A little lazy on take off but it don't hurt the power.
  10. Yes and a lot of bad info on here.
  11. A dump can use a single or two line set up but is best to use two lines to the tank.A RGN will need a two line to the tank for sure.
  12. Sounds like its time to lift a valve cover
  13. 3.29 for diesel in Tulsa for a month
  14. Like said worth taking to spring shop. The u/bolts need replaced and they tighten to around 1500 to 1600 ft lbs and that needs to be done with a multiplyer.
  15. Second wire is ground. Me and my self like the rebuilt bendix brand but you can buy new aftermarket look alike cheaper than the bendix.
  16. The AD9 will work in same bracket and connect same way as the AD4, however you will need to use a two wire connecter to the heater elemet were the AD4 use one wire.
  17. If the wet tank is dropping pressure too fast it can be the check valve I was talking about in the drier. It will leak back thru and out the purge valve when open.
  18. Yes a bad unloader valve can drain the wet tank cause there is no check valve between them like there was years ago.
  19. Another thing that make the drier there purge too often is if the check valve in the drier is leaking draining the wet tank.On the mack like all trucks the air governor gets its air supply from the wet tank.So if the check valve on the drier is leaking back thru the open purge valve in the dreir the pressure drops on the wet tank and then the governor will engage the comp to charge up the wet tank again so it can lose pressure too soon and same old thing over and over. The 88 mack came out with a AD4 which had a plactic flpper check valve inside but the two wire AD9 which will go in the same brackets will have a out side screw in valve on the bottom which can be changed with out a tear down.
  20. A reman would sure fix the problem but its a problem in the rear box that can be repaired by only pulling rear box.
  21. I am going to say the twin turbo 64 came out in 1966.The Tulsa dealer here sold one in that year and I was told it was the first one sold west of the Miss river.
  22. How hot is it getting.
  23. As for as I can remember the 864 went from no turbo to a twin turbo.
  24. Forget the dampener cause you could remove it and at idle its not going to show you anything.Unless you have damaged the dampner its ok with no more mileage than you have on it.If the virbration started when the engine was changed then it could be in the clutch or flywheel. You can remove the pressure plate to flywheel bolts and slide the pressure plate back enough to clear the flywheel.start it and see if its still running rough at idle. And for as virbrating on a pull it could be drive line problems. If its air ride get the ride height set to what factory say and not by what looks good. This is very critical.Let me tell you this a virbration in most cases is very hard to find and as for as we being able to tell you what it is we can only guess.
