tjc transport Posted 6 hours ago Share Posted 6 hours ago starting Monday night, Feb 9th, i will be offline for a while. i will have my phone, but dont think i will be in a mood to do much more than MAYBE reading posts for at least 3-4 days. due to conditions beyond my control, i will be in hospital early Tuesday morning until probably Friday, then going hopefully to my mothers condo for rehab by visiting nurse and physical therapy for a week or so, unless the nurse feels like i can come home. the condo is one level with a wheelchair ramp to get in, my place has 3 steps into the house and 13 steps to second floor bedrooms. i have a very large mass on my right kidney, larger than the kidney itself. docs are 90% certain it is non cancerous, but will not know until they get in me to see and remove it to know for sure. worse case scenario is remove mass and complete kidney, best case is just remove mass. 2 Quote when you are up to your armpits in alligators, it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp.. tjc transport Posted 2 hours ago Author Share Posted 2 hours ago thanks guys. i spent 4 days in hospital this week already for tests after they found the mass. went i8 8 am monday for urinary bleeding, and they found a severe urinary tract infection. sent me for an abdominal cat scan, and found the mass. docs asked how long it was there, and i told them dont know, never had any scans/xrays of chest or abdomen ever done. but they found it, and i told the doc 12 noon monday it aint supposed to be there, take it out!! he agreed, but it took another 3 days of tests and scans to make a game plan for how surgery would go down. 2 Quote when you are up to your armpits in alligators, it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..
