Don't know what he had for rears/suspension.The guy was leased to Sea Land and was running the truck on The Alaska Pipeline. TeamsterGrrrl Posted February 12, 2017 Share Posted February 12, 2017 "Reliable Legend" (I heard it from a couple different sources) has it that back in the 70s Twin Cities-Fargo trucking bought a fleet of new Mack Western F series cabovers with Mack V8s. TCF was notoriously cheap and thought the V8s too powerful, so they yanked them and replaced them with 237 HP Maxidynes.
