Nice road trip pics. Massillon, OH - yes where LTV Steel WAS located. Wifey told me there was "something" going there but she could not remember what. She is younger than me and getting just as forgetful.

Once again you were "in the neighborhood" of Freightrain and me. But I know, you didn't have time to stop! :tease:

Shoot Hank, you went right by my work. I'm in Barbertucky...ummm.......Barberton, right off Rt 585 and 21.

Yup, go by the old steel plant property on a regular occasion anymore going to Navarre to work on the ol Willys hot rod.

My clutch guy used to have a unit like this:

He finally traded the old Aerodyne in for a T2000 just a few years ago. Only got to see it sitting in his shop a few times when I was there, he put about a million miles on it through the years. Wished I coulda bought the truck from him. Always well kept.

On cassette?? But I only have an 8 track...........what will I do??????

Maybe if I get lucky they offer it on reel to reel??? I can dig out my old wollensak..........

Freind of mine owns it now. Last owner was Republic Steel. Property now a sand and gravel operation and a laydown yard for 42" pipe for the ROVER pipeline running from Steubenville to Canada. Bringing all the pipe in by rail car. Bringing 800 mile of pipe was told approximately 6,000 rail cars.

Oh, OK- maybe the place over on the east side of Canton was LTV. We hauled bars and coiled rod out of there too, but most of the bars came from Massillon.
