  1. Just checked one of my old manuals 1969 version that exact model no. was TRDXL107 for the low hole one and a TRDXL1070 for the overdrive one. terry
  2. X107A is a six speed with air operated back box, a true twelve spd is 3 boxes all bolted together, a real long trans. terry
  3. When they went to the 107X, reverse was put on aux. stick, then you had 5spds. in reverse along with direct and a low gear, also 1071X had a lower low gear in the aux. terry
  4. no it was as I described above, It was before the X107 six spd, only made for a couple of years, I will dig in one of my old mack service manuals to check, If I remember it had an interlock to use the low range with the main in 1 st gear, and the overdrive one had to have the main in 5th gear. terry
  5. if I am not mistaken that was the first version 6 spd, you shifted the main 5 times and the aux. box from direct to overdrive for the earlier deeper rear ratios, they also had one the aux. went from direct to low, for a lower first gear. terry

  18. drove one of the for years ,not a bad truck at all, the front spring is longer than a regular R model, lets it ride a little smoother on the steer axle. terry
  19. There are wider spacers available, also used to use some add on spacers if you needed just a little spacing, don't remember what they were called, about 1/8 or 3/16 thick, they slid on right on with original spacer. terry

  23. No. 8 is the check valve on the inlet side, there is another under the primer, but not all pumps have the primer on them, makes it harder to prime fuel system. terry
