    Any truck might be military if you paint it correct Mike, there was another, "small" version with a hood shorter and a gasser. But that's a matter for a new thread indeed.

    Ken, I'm afraid I don't cheer you up too much. This pic seems to me as somebodie's art. The lettering on their backs look correct although those stripped pins are used by road police overhere. Shoes also don't look like a service stuff. So don't be too fast with crime. I mean if you see anywhere a MH with a grill in a decent shape think twice before pull it off

    I hope you guys don't brake me down for off-topic, here are some pics I have of the "big" diesel WW2 Diamond-T's. The color pic is of the fresh restored one I catched up in France this past D-Day selebration and the black'n white ones are those trucks in a civil service in Russia right after the war. Mike, it would be too interesting to get over your dad's service days. Paul, good luck on the deal with the Red monster.

    Some units now in existance - 1st pic - this truck was restored in Great Britain not long ago and was repowered with Cummins. It had original gasser before. 2nd and 3rd- well restored unit, also in GB Has original EY707 4th - NO of the Dutch army vehicles collection Next - a couple of shots of the one in Marshall museum in the Netherlands. And the last two pics of red units - these beasts were shure in the States

    ... And the talks were about F models with aerodyne cabs wich all were Europeans excepting that one. V8 powered Hayward R-Model was a cool thing to see in person indeed. Glad to recognize some faces in the meeting although I still wonder how did look the red head I recently read so many about.

    Cool toy to play in sand. I think it still able to make some money if really needs. Hope the owner has enough area to keep it away of scrappers.

    What the 9 speed transmission is ? TRD-720.. ? Any markings on it? Any water in it ??

    Older style had 10 bolts all around, 4 of them were big. Newer style has many bolts of the same size, almost like on a R-model. Although I think CDR-92/93 are always newer ones. R-models have a power divider shorter so if you put them in you should correct the prop shaft. But you can go up to 4.17 - 3.86 that way. It would be easier if you post some pics of your carriers. Ring and pinion sets require set-up in a carrier housing so it's easier to swap whole diffs.

    Do you mean the cam has no teeeth for a diff lock? If so you maybe can use it just having no lock. I'd better swap it that way.

    Those beasts are rare. About 2000 were built in 42-45. Looks like some one went home with that one some time after D-day. Thank you for posting Paul, interesting to see.

    Really cool bunch of pics Tom, the ants and the girls worth the job. But my favorite is the U-model behind EHU. There must be another EHU somewhere in the woods though.

    Seems like it was a cool show Mike, thank you for posting. I like that small Ford dump. It too reminds me the trucks produced here in Russia on the Ford's plant. And the stacks look worth that labour.

    New bumper is avalible from Watts. I got it and can say it looks absolutely perfect. As for the spokes I think red centers with whire rims will work. Better make an easy BMP picture to play over with colors. Or send me PM and have the one from me. Vlad
