Alu battery covers are offered by Watt's. Both polished and able-to-polish. Not for free but reasonable on my mind. There were SS shop made ones for sale here on the forum. Can't remember who sold them although they were offered by Vinny (Umodelnut). Cool looking R you have by the word. Vlad. -

Yes, you can see the logo's well if you download and increase the pics. Nice to see these beasts sitting in the woods, hope some of them are survived. Looks like the trucks are equipped with Timken-Detroit axles.

There's a collection of that kind WW2 army wreckers in the Overloon museum in The Netherlands. Hope you can point out the difference from the pics.

I remember we spoke this theme some time ago but see no reason to avoid repeat. The first Mack I ever drove was the Military one NM model wich I bougt running just a couple of years ago. The first Mack I drove in the streets was one of my R-models.

Pretty shure, Al. There's alot of those sand-colored beasts overhere, they were the firsts who came on our roads from overseas. Most of them are bet to death now. -

That thing may work as a good reason to stop smoking for that price. Smokers shouldn't worry though, there was alot of more reasonable offers a week back at least.

Thank you for letting me know. I too liked that H so called Arden and had very nice talk with him. He priced the truck very reasonable but wasn't shure of the crank turning over. It was a cold time right about one year ago and he hadn't much want to try it. After some thinking I resolved to not deal because I would need to pay about 10 times more to the price getting it home with no papers allowing it to drive here. Having no one ready truck project yet I cooled off myself but kept that place in my mind.

Looks like an exceptional episode of the movie "Gods must be crazy". Same country, same guys. By the word Kenian ambassador in Russia visited me couple of times with a reason to get some parts for his S-class Mercedes. Nice man and I got an impression that things really go much better in that country than you can see it in the movie.

I'm too glad to know you Mike got it but none else. I mean I'm shure it's a good home for her. Both trucks look complete so there's no much sence to build one from the two on my mind. When I was on my holiday I had an idea to get myself to North West Diesel but it was too much for my first trip and too long to drive.

That shit ice may brake alot. We here hadn't so violant to loose the power for a long while although I got my car's windshield cracked during defrosting it. Started the engine and put the blower in min when system was cold and stayed it for an hour to warm gentle. Broke down nevertheless. -
There's a bypass canal with a valve in fuel pump to get out extra amount of pressurized oil when revs are high or other reason. If the valve doesn't close well under normal conditions this follows a shortage of oil supply in the system. The way to go - open the pan and get to the pump.

What is the setup in front of the power divider housing? Interaxle diff lock on a B-model? There's also interesting EFU project for sale in the same section.
