  1. I was just about pissed my leg, as Vinny would say Mike's words.
  2. That one is not a RS but R700. Different hood and if I'm correct the factory. Looks like a nice basis to be restored. By the word isn't it a Oakville truck?
  3. Looks very good I'm impressed of the interior condition.
  4. Welcome! Feel free to ask questions about trucks you'll put your eye on.
  5. Nice collection of trucks Paccard was also look like a good one. Glad to see you arranged the fleet the way you needed.
  6. If you have current figures just make a proportion. Divide the "new" ratio by the current, than multiply you curren top speed with the result. So will see the increase or decrease. If you prefere sharp figures you need to count out your wheel's one rev length (3.14xOD), and being known how many revs the engine does (2100 per MINUTE) you continue dividing them by overall drivetrain ratio (0.60 overdrive in T2060 tranny multiplied with 4.00 in rears). After dividing 2100/(0.60x4.0) = 875 you get the number of revs of the wheel per minute (875). Than knowing how long way your wheel makes by every revolution (don't know what 22.5's they are) you multiply it with 875 and get the way the truck makes in one MINUTE. Than divide it by 60 and see the way in one hour. But... If you count the wheel's circle length in inches you will get the speed in INCHES per hour. So you'll need to divide it by the number of inches in a mile to see the top speed by common way. Sorry I'm not ready to tell you how many inches in a mile is, I'm used to live in the metric world
  7. It shure worth to see. Wonder how many people will operate that showel. One??
  8. That might work. looks nice either with no reverse.
  9. Looks nice and cheap. The only sad fact it isn't small enough to put it into a pocket and come on a plane.
  10. Oh, hell, probably some one cutted the front panel off the cab and welded back the wrong one
  11. I always suppose an easy looking truck pictures, especially for sale ones, isn't safe. Congratulations on the new baby. Now you'll need to continue keep it inside and build plans on how to paint the chassis. Looks shure nice and has a potential to be the best of the kind
  12. That sounds like a plan. Too hope you'll find time and power to go along.
  13. That MH on the pic #5 looks familiar. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/37081-freedom-mh/- isn't it? The green truck is sweet looking indeed and the authumn roads with leaves different colored - just a beauty. Thank you for posting.
  14. Don't remember where I pulled that out from, but shure some one posted it on here before. Vlad
  15. That above shure works.
  16. I disagree with you guys about that peach. I see nothing wrong if you grew up peaches on a pear tree and put lables on them when they still hang. California lables... Although what's matter what's written on them! Special thanks for the SGT truck. It wouldn't work as a Christmas card but will be kept in my 'puter. And Marsel, that wasn't me. I don't use to cruise US drive ways hunting for IH's to get them exported
  17. Hmmm... Looks like the time goes fast. When had you repainted Volvo in green and put the Vision hood on it?? Love the R.
  18. Many thanks for posting, that stuff is awesome!
  19. Looks cool How did you prepair the engine to paint? Power wash? Or sand blast? Vlad
  20. Never thought a H63 might be so tiny Good luck on quick getting the load.
  21. Nice work Sakis I remember when your truck was offered for sale in Holland and than there was a picture posted somewhere with the truck loaded into the trailer. It's good you showed out on here, too hope to see more of your project done in the future. Vlad
  22. Quite funny... It just might be the housing stamped with some figures has different content in it. If not I think the divider has to warm up pretty hot and is worn off to the moment. Would be tooooo interesting to know what he will find out observing the gears.
  23. Some Dutch heavy transportation company, don't remember wich one, rebuilt them in early days for their needs. I saw them on pics before, it was cool to catch up one in person.
  24. Paul, your surprize has a matter. In fact this show gathered the most of Macks and other American trucks all over Europe. There were shure not all of them although you use to see many of the same vehicles each every year. And I'm sorry to point out they are very rare to be shown out by the road.
