There was a steel company in my town that used to run two, long wheelbase, single axles flatbeds with a grapple crane mounted between thw cab and bed. Your's looks clean. They were the only owners and used the truck up until my father purchased it. Overall the truck is clean and in good condition. Can was rotted in the corners and up where the steel nose mounts. Going to replace with a galvanized cab with bowed back to give a little more room. Also goi g to add power steering. Have removed the cab and engine and brought the chassis into my garage to tear down further. Edgecomb steel (Milford) didn't have grapple cranes. this goes back to Connecticut truck book;; so many not listed that have gone by the way side.
