74 Mack Rmodel Project

Recommended Posts

Original engine was a Mack ENDT 675. I was able to purchase a Mack MR fire engine that had a EM6-237. Have to swap a lot of things over because of the different style trucks but over all the new engine ran much better when we drove the truck home.

IMG_5399.jpegEverything looks nicer with a fresh coat of paint.

can see the high-tack on jake spacer. taking a small center punch  - putting divots along green spacer top and bottom along with high tack the gaskets seem to stay in line better with less leaks. also like the fact jake spacers stayed green ==just my thoughts.
