that B30 is nice. actually looks like it has standard Mack 34000 camelbacks but has the early vertical housings wih ''Spaghetti Drive'' and has a separate driveshaft runnin to both rears. maybe not but most ealy B30's I have seen have this.

As I understand it, the DM819SX came with an 864 V8 but it had problems so Mack installed a new Cat to appease the owner.

Yes,,,,,The original owner Pagnotti purchased 4 DM's that year and was plagued with the 2-valve V8 issues.. So yes Mack replaced the engines and the parts look up microfiche film ,but could not change the vin since it was already put into service

DM819 is actually a good deal when you consider how much money that has been spent on it.  I wish I had the cash.

Another Mack DM819SX for sale advertised in the truck paper.   Mack V8 engine, eight speed transmission advertised, but it looks like there is another shifter in the cab pic.  Located in Pittston, PA.

I just wondered where you where or if you'd be at any shows in IA, I just want to see it. Hope to find one someday but not today. I can get an excavator if he needs it LOL
